Recurrent Pregnancy Loss

Hi all!

I would like to check in if any of you guys could recommend me a miscarriage specialist or a good recurrent pregnancy loss place to go to? Preferably women doctors. I've gone through two pregnancy loss at 8 weeks. One in 2019 and went through one about a week ago. Both are conceived naturally and the loss happened without any medication assistance. My husband and I are open to getting ourselves checked if there are any abnormalities that we need to be aware of or recommendations for our next step.

I really appreciate any input that would be helpful! Thank you in advance!

Sorry for your losses.. I had 1 loss and 2 chemical through IVF, decided to see Dr Sheila Vasoo for second opinion. You can check her out, but she's not a gynae per se, so I think you should speak to your doctor too about this. All the best!

I'm so sorry for your losses.. I hope you're doing well and healing.. Thank you for your recommendation! I will take note and do a little research about her. I have a check up with the doctor I'm seeing for this current pregnancy next week. It's to see if the pregnancy tissues have passed fully. Hoping that all is well. Thank you again! :)

Hi Zirei, i hope you're feeling a lot better. I know how you feel. We've had two miscarriages in the past before we were blessed with a baby daughter, and it was really tough but it gets better. Don't give up hope! If you're near AMK, you can visit my gynae. His name is Jen Shek Wei, maybe you can also consider him for a second opinion.

I started to see her after 1 early miscarriage and 2 chemical pregnancies from 1st ivf cycle. Did a lot of blood tests but all results were actually within normal range tho NK cells on the borderline high side. So she recommended intralipid infusions for the next cycle which I did. The FET was successful and I saw her I think two more times before "graduating" after a good week 12 oscar scan and blood test review.

Hi StephKan!

I'm so sorry for your losses.. But so happy to know that you've been blessed with a little one! It gives me hope :) Been doing well. My last check up was okay, there's still some little blood left and awaiting for it to come out naturally. It's usually the psychological part that's going to take alot of time. Thank you for your encouragement and recommendation! I'll take a look! :)

If you're concerned about cost, NUH has a recurrent pregnancy loss clinic and can run the tests for much cheaper than private doctors. Just need to get referral from Polyclinic. Not sure whether KKH will do it after 2x but I know NUH will.

Hi all, stumbled upon this thread and would like to hear some stories of hope - I have personally suffered from 3 pregnancy losses and with the most recent D&C done earlier this week. I feel very devastated as we have lost our BB at week 9 and we are advised to try again after 3 cycles but I seem to have lost all hope, in fear that my next pregnancy will also end up in a loss. It's such a tough journey and sometimes I don't know what I can do.
