Pregnancy checkup in public hospital

Dear All,
Good day! May I know anyone, who taking a pregnancy-checkup in a Public hospital but at the same time visiting private for a few checkup?
Because I find that Public hospitals do not have frequent check-up like in private hospitals.

Based on my understanding, private hospitals have pregnancy checkups every 4 weeks(after 2nd trimester), but the public hospital is longer like every 6- 8 weeks. I have some personal reason, thus need to do a checkup in a public hospital.

Anyone can share your experience?

Thanks!

I had girlfriends who had packages in kkh or nuh but still saw private gynaes on an adhoc basis. More for last minute or urgent cases. Like minor bleeding and couldnt get appointment in time in public so just went to a heartland gynae for a peace of mind.

it is advised to do checkups in one place cos all your information and conditions will be saved in one place. of course transfer of information is possible when due date is near but just in case you are in a hurry and the hospital that u gonna give birth does not have all your info and regular screening results. so just rmb to transfer your diagnosis files.
