Hi Serene,

Sorry for delayed response as I was admitted to hospital. My daughter is currently in N2 class @ Posso Preschool Tampines Point and I am happy to share with you about our fantastic experience. I am Catherine Lee and my daughter's name is Chloe Tan.

My son is currently enrolled in Posso Tampines. He was previously from another childcare and we moved him over due to logistics. Never regretted the choice we made. Teachers are rather passionate, environment is nice and clean, interesting subjects and most importantly, I feel the school isn’t as commercialised as a few others I know.

I had a bad experience with this school and withdrawing my child at end of this month. Pretty disappointed with their school system and admin.

Hi TTJ, will you be able to share the bad experience that you have encountered in Tampines branch? Because my daughter is from Tampines branch since Nov 2018 and I have not encountered any bad experience with the school system and admin. Perhaps, can I help to address your concerns?
 
Hi all, just met another parent who withdrew from Tampines posso at another childcare. We both had the same issue with unaccountable bruising found on my children. My son had nappy rash from delayed change of soiled diaper and injury to his cheek from a fall. The teacher ain’t very responsive to the app communication leaving some information and questions left unreplied.
They insisted that I served another 1 month notice cos my first withdrawal was mentioned as temporary withdrawal.

Hi TTJ, appreciated your sharing. My daughter has started with Posso Preschool@Tampines Point since their official opening in Nov 2018 and I have not encountered any bad experiences with the school and teachers till now.

In fact, I was very impressed by the teachers' dedicated efforts for being very prompt in communication app as well as updating me on my daughter's status if she is feeling unwell. Besides that, my daughter shared with me on how well the teachers took care of her in the sick bay when she was feeling unwell until my arrival to fetch her back from school. During my arrival, the teachers updated me on her last temperature taken as well as her food intake for that day. This really touched my heart as a parent when the teachers are caring and meticulous towards my child and this incident convinced me that I have entrusted my daughter to the right school and in the good hands of the teachers.

And till now, my daughter enjoys going to school so much because she likes the teachers and all her friends in school. As a parent, seeing how my daughter smiles every day when I send her to school, it makes my day as well when I am heading to work.

Therefore, I am very perplexed after you have shared your experiences encountered with the school and teachers.
 
I am keen to place my daughter into K1 at Tampines next year.
What’s the student to teacher ratio at Posso?
Can I get a referral from anyone??

Hi, nice e-meeting you here. The current ratio is 2:8 (2 Teachers: 8 Children) for N2 at Posso Preschool@Tampines Point this year. They will be promoting to K1 next year. Just wanted to share that i just attended this year's graduation ceremony, and i'm totally impressed by the school's efforts in making the ceremony/concert such a successful one. My girl's in PG but appeared on stage 4 times to perform, never thought a 2.5 year old could have such exposure in a pre-school. Been with the school for a year now and I have only good things to say. Let me know if anyone needs more information at 93373616, happy to share more information as reference point!
