Hello mummies, just recently ive realized that my baby girl age 5 has been constantly tripping over when she runs and hurting herself. Ive been told by my neighbour who's also a mummy that this is natural for the kids but im not too convinced since my older boy did not experience this constant problem! so im hoping to get some advice here on what to do. Im unsure whether to visit a doctor regarding this or if its really just a growing process? Im desperate for help! Im afraid this might lead to something worse. Please advice, it will greatly appreciated!

My nephew is also like this. Super active boy but always fell down while running or walking since toddler. Turned out he is flat footed. But now he is 6 and much better.

Hi kitty16, thank you for your reply. I dont think that my child is flat footed, she seems to have an arch. Do you think it might be something else?

You should take your children to Orchard Clinic, the podiatrists there are amazing with children.
Dr Michael Lai and Georgina Callaghan.

Highly recommend. They can ease your worries, specialists with the legs.

They are very friendly and Georgina even gives free checking and advice.

My niece was like this and realised she likes to walk with her feet pointing inwards, resulting in tripping. We corrected her and now it's ok.

Hi ladies! Thank you very much for your replies! So i took it upon myself to bring my girl to Orchard Clinic as suggested by MsJen (thank you for recommendation). And after some research on the place, got good reviews, i brought my girl over 2 days ago instead of going through polyclinic (too much of a hassle and waste of time) and im glad to say that my girls foot problem is improving! Podiatrist Georgina was very friendly and loving to my girl, also gave very helpful tips. Im impressed! Thank you again Jen for your recommendation.

MistyCloud Thats great! But i was really worried about her walking especially that she loves to dance so better safe than sorry!

Hi, it might be sensory issue like my boy. Their coordination is not good this left feet trip right feet.

Therapy will solve the issue.
