Hi fellow mummies, any instances of your gynae prescribing aspirin during your pregnancy? Especially for older mummies? Thanks

I don't think it has to do with age. I have friends below 30 who had to take that too, due to the mum's blood not flowing efficiently to the placenta and resulting in baby not absorbing enough nutrients (slower growth) and aspirin will help thin the mum's blood to enable better blood flow. You should check with your gynae why he/she prescribed you that?

Nope, dunno their dosage..but their issues are the same..slow baby growth. How come your gynae never explain why he/she prescribes you with aspirin?
