Hi dear.. usually around 18 weeks into pregnancy the fetus starts hearing the outside world as their organs begins to develop rapidly as weeks goes by.. i recalled when my husband did a concrete hammering drilling and i forgotten I was pregnant even after 22 weeks.. lol! Lil one didn't make any sudden reaction at all since I was holding the vacuum as to suck the concrete dust as my hubby drill... U can be sure its extremely loud even for my ears during that moment.. But everything seems ok.. so it's alright to me.. ♥ but they do respond if u touch/rub your belly. Now at 29 weeks, lil one is super active to surrounding, especially to familiar voices.

Hi gcgcgc, dont worry.. as baby starts hearing their first sounds around week 18..
