Any mums had experience from either or both of the hospital?

I am diagnosed with this condition called Succenturiate lobe, a complication with the placenta.

This will mean Csec n also premie bb.. so I need to downgrade to govt hospital in case nicu bill balloons.

There is a likelihood of post op n op bleeding for Mom also..

My sis say kkh is only nice to babies but not for the Mom.. is nuh really better for both Mom n baby?

Hi. Can I check if you've delivered? And which Govt hospital did u opt for? My baby growth development dropped and she's currently Low birth weight hence I'm also considering downgrading to a govt hospital due to the nicu charges. Appreciate if you can share any experiences u had on bill size and reviews of the hospital you opt for. Thanks!

Hi I delivered in kkh on 30mar.. was admitted for 1.5wks before delivery. Entire bill size was about 22k but fully deducted from my Medisave. My baby did not need nicu.. experience for the mummy was terrible cos my case they have to standby blood transfusion needle every day so I get poked till my veins swell.. even now still swollen. But for baby I Guess it's the place where u get the best team of specialist at subsidised rate. My LO have some irregularities which requires further tests.. these tests can cos thousands in private but we paid few hundreds.. they have a good team of Doctors for premie as well so very sharp.. but they like to order blood tests for everything so u have to be alert n 'fight' for your LO when it's not necessary.. for example the tests that we had to do.. they wanted to do it when my LO was 3days old premie weighing 2.35kg. It's 5 big tubes of blood!! We refused n insisted to bring him back at the latest possible date. So in the end they advise test to be done no later than 2wks.. we went back at 2wks when my LO gained bit more weigh.. still heart pain but no choice.. kkh will have a bigger team of specialist for LO which is why I went there in the end.. hope this helps..
