Hi all,

I’m here again. Just did my FET last month and now I’m 7 weeks pregnant.

Had 1 fresh cycle + 1 frozen 6 years ago and had my daughter.

2 years ago I embarked into a frozen cycle (Day 6 Grade C Blast) but failed.

Last year I did 2 times of fresh and 1 time of frozen cycle this year then I got my bb who is in my tummy now.

I gone through more cycles and it was def much difficult to get pregnant due to my are compared to 6 years ago.

I had a tough pregnancy 6 years ago as I was having blot clots and spotting for entire 2 months and also HG with MS all day long for 4 months.

It was a courage for me to go through all over again and try but it seems worth it.

Now again, I having spotting since 3 weeks ago and I know what to do this time round (going O&G).

Also now having to deal with Morning Sickness again is not easy.

I hope we can graduate here with flying colours. Don’t lose hope, we are strong people

may i ask who is your ivf doctor and gynae now?

Hi, did any of your docs say there's no scientific evidence that Coq10 improves egg quality and doesn't recommend it? Roland Chieng said so and advised me to start egg retrieval soonest instead of taking Coq10 supplements for 3 months first. He said supplements are not proven to improve egg quality. I'm confused as a lot of websites recommend taking Coq10 for 3 months before egg retrieval to improve egg quality. But not sure if it's coz I've low AMH so no point waiting.

what is your AMH level and age?

I wanted to say that ivf is a high cost and high emotional investment. If you are not 100% convinced to do it before trying ubiquinol, it is your call not to start it first.

Start yr ivf only when you feel that you are prepared and ready for it. Afterall, how many ivf rounds can you undergo...choose the timing wisely!

Hello anyone here experience this, due to sunday being an off day did their day 5 blastocyst - hatching blast on day 4 post ovulation instead for natural fet? This is my situation.. I have positive ovulation kit on Mon and strong peak on Tuesday. Tuesday the morning scan still can see the follicle and LH is surging, tue night I’m still positive. On wed, I became negative and morning scan shows that I’ve ovulated and LH test shows declined. Hence it means I ovulated on tue night and the transfer for day 5 would be Sunday but cos it’s closed I have to do it on sat- day 4 post ovulation instead. My blast is a hatching one during the day 4 transfer, will there be any issue with the implantation period or the blast don’t match the uterine age?

Sorry, I cannot remember an exact breakdown. I paid hard cash (no medisave, no govt support) for my full cycle in 2022 - from STIMMS to ET, i spent about S$20-22K?

Usually I would advise to start soon cos the waiting time for the doc is equivalent to the body's waiting time (I'm referring to kkh, which could be a good 3-4 months), but perhaps for you, it might be a good idea to rest for a while before embarking the next cycle...

I am truly very sad. I keep crying for the past few days. My husband suggested we can go for consultation with Dr Liu first then slowly start the procedure. I think will take 1 year.

Also I’m also gonna eat tonics and also TCM.

I did have morning sickness like no appetite and the gag feeling, but I didnt vomit or got dehydrated...

After a last minute call from the doc that my frozen embbies couldnt make it for the transfer, I decided to stop all my complacency and nonsense - i stop drinking and eating rubbish. I went partial keto - that means I increase my intake of eggs and meat and drinks lotsa of water. Hubby did the same but his purpose was to lose more weight (he was not fat to begin with, just wanted to look trimmer).

The following cycle, egg quality did improve though it was a C - obtained 3 frozen embbies, 1 kaput before transfer, transferred 2 and got a BFP.

Hey Jill, nope, I did not do any TCM* or avoid cold drinks. The only herbal food that I ate was the herbal duck from Dian Xiao Er LOL

I had mc on my 1st fresh cycle and no day 5 blast on my 2nd fresh cycle. No frozen back then. For this cycle, I still have 3 embryos that will be monitored in the next 3 days and see if suitable to freeze. Wondering if ET on day 4 morula is common?

yes! it's common! my 2 boys come from day 4 morula respectively - supposed to be a blasto but received a call from the nurse and had to do the transfer in short notice (within the next 1-2 hours). Happened twice LOL

I'm not too sure about uterine age but I did a day 4 transfer. He's 2.5 yrs old now. Good luck!!! Don't overthink and don't stress too much!

reason is that the frozen embryos supposed to cultured to day 5 couldnt wait, they were turning "bad" hence, needed to be transferred asap. Jia you!

By the way, just to add on, I couldn't succeed with fresh transfers, only frozen transfers, sometimes, it's just unexplainable.

Due to OHSS, I was not allowed to do fresh transfer for all my 3 cycles.

But I would also think it is much safer to do frozen cycle and that I can decide the month which I want to insert the embryo.

Also I waited for a few menses before I did the frozen transfer so that my womb will be “cleaner”.

Thanks! Hmm… OHSS means u had alot of matured follicles for each cycle? I nv had that, each time my ovary only produced 8-12 follicles. Out of which, 5-8 eggs extracted each cycle. I am on 2dp4dt fresh cycle today. Still very early days I am abit bored as currently on 2WW HL. Hence, I do some office work to kill my time.

I noticed u just had mc, hope u are feeling better. Pls get some rest before starting next FET !

Yes! It's very very exciting and guess what, I am a cheappie HPT addict, so I tested every single day; sometimes 2 times per day. Hahaha....that adrenaline rush after you peed on the stick and waiting for double lines LOL

I had mild cramp last night, I felt its too early for implantation. I did some readings, its apparently body’s reaction to the presence of embryo. Need to occupy my day with some other activities to prevent the temptation to test. Funny thing, during my 1st cycle, after I saw blood test result from healthhub (nurse not yet called), I went guardian to buy pregnancy kit to reconfirm the blood test. Totally terbalik. Lol.

Dont buy from pharmacies if you want to fulfil the addiction of testing. Go for the super cheap HPT that's like coming to a dollar per stick. They work just as well.

Last time I used to rest during 2WW with Hosp leave then my company starts noticing that I was on frequent Hosp Leave but I didn’t tell them that its IVF.

Ya it’s good to keep your mind active , you can do some online shopping or some drama.

I’m actually still very upset of what has happened and keep thinking about my baby.

My elder girl also wish to have a sibling and I wanted to quickly try but my family think that I should take few months to recover my body.

On side note, I feel my body temperature is abit unusual, so I took thermometer and tested 37.3-37.4deg range. My normal body temperature is 36.8deg. Do I look like going to have fever soon? Oh gosh… keep my finger crossed.

Hmm.. today my body temperature elevated as high as 37.9deg leh. I also dunno if real fever or not, I bathed and dropped to 37.2deg. After that, it went up again to 37.4deg now. I hope no infection.

I'm hoping someone could advise me on the subsidy and claims eligible for Singaporean. I understand that the co-founding might not be applicable to me as I am already 40, but can I still claim under medisave? I'm assuming is 2 different provisions right? Hi Everyone, I'm 40 this year and exploring assisted conception as me and my hubby have been trying for more than 6 months without any luck. I have an existing ovarian cyst and fibroid. I'm hoping someone could advise me on the subsidy and claims eligible for Singaporean. I understand that the co-founding might not be applicable to me as I am already 40, but can I still claim under medisave? I'm assuming is 2 different provisions right? Also, what's the waiting time for subsidize and private route. Hoping someone would be kind enough to share with me. Thanks!

after getting an appointment w the doc, the nurse will do financial counselling w the patients. For private patients, you can choose the doc.

Hi All,
For those who done IVF in Malaysia and did PGT, do you do PGT-A for all your embryos? I have only 3 folicials (14, 13, 13mm at Day 8) for upcoming egg retrieval and I'm 42. I'm kind of agony as I'm worried if all is abnormal and I have nothing to transfer. Can some kind soul offer some helpful advice? This is my first egg retrieval as my last 2 IVF cycles cancelled due to poor response and early ovulation.

Background: I did ovarian PRP in KL and managed to improve my AMH and AFC slightly. Dr did say PRP is to improve egg quality rather than AFC.

I did for all my embryos… I was 33 then.. but I didn’t want to risk miscarrying or having dc kid.. so I just did for all.

I still have another 8 frozen eggs left and this time round will be my last try (using last 3rd gov subsidize) and will dispose the frozen eggs after this cycle. First ivf failed and my second ivf(2022) successful and my little one already turns 1yr old this June24 .

Hopefully everything will go smoothly, abit nervous to start again. Waiting for my period to come next week to start on my progynova for 2wks.

Praying my menses wont screw me up again huhuhu.. gonna get over my last ivf try this year and stop.
