How to diminish facial scar

My 1yo boy's was scratched by a friend's baby while they were playing

now a light scar remain on his face after 1 mth

any cream to lighten or fade it?

Hi, I so totally know how u feel... My boy's face also got scratched.. it was very very bad and I was super duper upset then...

Seen a pd and he recommend this cream called "Centellase". Just apply a bit on the affected area.. Just A BIT ok? That time I applied quite a lot cos I thought the more the better, but it seems like this cream is quite strong and my boy's wound became quite red after tt... My hubby scolded me and say this is not SKII.. you may want to check with your pd if this cream is suitable for your kid though..

However, just to make u feel better, they do recover.. just that it takes time.. My boy was scratched in sep 2011.. now, I don't really notice the scar anymore.. maybe it is still there if I look for it closely.. but not obvious le.. Take care and don't feel too upset ok? Hugz...

i was really upset over it.. coz that my bestie's boy and no way i can vent my anger on them.

he was scratched infront of my eyes.. only consoling fact was thats my daughter, i will probably be even more worried over the scar

Have u tried Hiruscar from the pharmacies? A relative of mine says that it works without irritating the skin. Kids' skin heal very fast I think it should naturally fade with time.

All you need to do is go to a dermatologist or even better, buy some Vitamin E cream. IT ALWAYS WORKS!

Yes. Better to cure young if not there might be a chance it will be a permanent mark
