How do you keep your children safe online?

I mean in case of gadgets? My daughter is 3 yo and I would be really grateful for some tips. Thanks.

Considering her age it's a bit strange question for me because in my opinion in such age it's really too early to use any gadgets at all, not to mention the net surfing. For example, my son started to use tablet from 4 years but only for watching cartoons, later for some games and that's all, he wasn't interested in net at all.
If you're asking about the perspective for her, your main tools will be control and explanation. Be with her when she uses search engines for anything (btw popular browsers have special safe filters for this) and teach her how to use the net safely and wisely. Explain her about possible web risks and dangers, for example cyberbullying and sharing with your personal information in social networks https://www.wired.com/story/abcs-of-keeping-kids-safe-online/.
Various parental control software like keylogger https://www.refog.com/, Family Shield, Kidlogger, Net Nanny, Qustodio and so on will be very helpful for you control because with them you'll be able to monitor your child's gadgets activities and block all inapropriate sites for her. Also I recommend from my own experience to use them for installing limits of her general screen time too.

I agree with previous reply, why does she need gadgets in such age? You can give her a tablet maybe sometimes for watching cartoons but with installed limits for her screen time, after passing them, the tablet will just stop working at all.

1. Talk openly with your child about their online activity.
2. Keep screens and devices where you can see them.
3. Know your parental controls.
4. Know who your children’s online friends are.
5. Be ‘share aware’ to protect your privacy.
