Saw it on the P-G list. Me letting my ger go but we wont be accompanying her.
Ya, I saw the new principal the other day, middle-aged lady seems quite ok.
The other day a bit sianz....cos when I went to fetch my ger, normally after 6pm they will be watching cartoon vcds. My ger was standing so close to the television and the teachers did nothing to it. I dont mind letting kids watching tv but if they get too close to the tv shld pull them away and let them know mah...*sigh*...hopefully this doesnt spoil the eyes....

Did you receive the circular yesterday? They are increasing the prices liowz. Full day childcare to $430 (after subsidy) and playgroup to $300. Infant care going to increase $100 to $800 (after subsidy). Sianz....thinking if i shld continue putting my ger there. Imagine 1 childcare and 1 infant *sigh*

my husband shall bring my girl to the ctr lor... Start my girl on full day, from today onwards and shall see how does it go leh... saw a bad incident on one of the sat. gave me a freak... thinking to change ctr for my girl leh... but the nearby one are so ex, out of my $$$ abiliity... sigh!!!

i can't put her for a trial because their admin fee is non-refundable and its quite hefty. it's about $250 if I remember correctly.
I am thinking of sending her to the Elim Churh Kindergarten but I'll have to wait till she turns 2.5 years old and potty trained. I've decided not go with bestcare since it seems like kids in kindergarten-ran preschool dun fall sick as much as those in childcare. I only intend to send her for half a day. Any comments on Elim Kindy?

So might be placing No. 1 at the childcare beside my blk and No. 2 prob try and find a bbsitter. What incident did u see on Sat? But I tot ur ger now still in playgroup so how come Sat have ah?

too bad, it rained in tokyo. esp when we were @ disneyland.. spoilt the trip.... but its a sunny day when we were in disneysea...

Then the teachers those doing actual teaching mostly got diploma in presch education except those teaching assistants and auntie then dont have. So seems quite okies. Might put my ger there coming July.

Blk 14 dont accept unless fully potty trained? I went to enquire on Sat morning they never tell me this criteria woh. My ger also not fully potty trained yet. Then they passed me the stack of registration forms liowz.

was looking at the primary sch lah... hee... nothing to do mah. there are 2 pri sch near to my pl only, 1 is hong wen, the other one is methodist. n found out the hong wen will be re-located to towner road in 2009.

i'm a 1st time mtb and EDD in dec 2008. currently staying at mcnair road, just behind the sikh temple at boon keng. was wondering if anybody has any nanny or babysitter to recommend who is staying in the boon keng or towner/st george area? am considering to get a nanny for baby when i go back to work (probably around 6mths)... appreciate if anyone has any recommendations? thanks very much...

ya.. hong wen will be relocated to towner road, checked in the moe website... actually my PIL have told me that hong wen will be rebuild 3 yrs ago.

one of my frenz said me gotta start search for my girl pri sch thingy lor.... in case the sch is popular, esp those branded ones nd to do volunteer work one, gotta "book" early" . me not that ks lah nor wan my kids to be in that kind of life too... me is the btc mummy so wont expect much from my kids... hee!!!

Cos my ger currently attending the childcare at CreativeStar got infant care also...i not going to put #2 there becos its too far for me to bring a 2 yrold and a infant home...very difficult especially if its raining. So gotta get a nanny for #2.

saw @ creative that the photos are sold @ $1 per piece for the last trip to the farm, did you buy? is this a norm practice to sell them as way to generate revenue eh? my colleague's granddaugther child care, the principal gives a CD rom every 6mth. so it consists of sch actitives, outdoor, excursions photos as FREE. so envy.... sour grapes lor...
