for me. evenings are alrite n the most time i spend with her other than weekends. get to leave on time at 5pm, by the time i reach is 6pm n spend time until she fall sleeps. i will eat n bath but only in between n wont take long. so when i eat, i give ayuni biscuit to eat. If tired, i will slack on the bed watch baby einstein with her. ahhaha... tat can last almost 1 hr. put her in the jumperoo when i slack watch tv. she's only sleepy ard 8 plus or 9 sometimes, by then i also tired.

ckap pasal muslimah swimming gear..i bought mine at kembangan last yr at $88(5pcs set) tapi i cuma pakai the 3pc jer...anyway tat time gi batam..manage to scout one shop selling muslimah swimwear..quality oklah ..pattern ok not so obiang 1 n size limited..it cost abt Sg$30++...3pcs set..not bad..so i bot it from my sis. but for each of my dd..for smaller kids punya abt $25++ 3pcs set..quality them better..jahitan much nicer...

I c. i reach home ard 7. latest is 7:30. rush to eat, bathe, pray, handle Nada. Nada sleepy at 8, 8+. sometimes I reach home, she already sleepy and want to sleep. or just cranky coz tired. at that time, is mad rush. coz my parents also want to pray,eat. I cant eat,bathe, pray in peace - rush rush. weekends only real time I spend with her. even then, visit IL so must give them the chance, there goes one precious weekend day. I sendiri restless nak jalan, not always get chance. parents not home, hubby regularly have own plans now & then. well these days, he teman us more.
ramadan was worse - everyone happy eat, i cant coz jaga Nada. Nada was ard 3-4mths old then and very cranky at break fast time. I break fast susah. parents rushing out to tarawih. hard time then.

Panjang nye all the postings!!
I on MC today, everytime pergi check up ambik MC : ) Dr Jazlan said I've gained a lot this month round and my baby is 1.45kg now, above average (average is suppose to be 1.2kg at 29 weeks) It seems to be heading for caesarean again. But Dr asked me to keep an open mind and we'll see how it goes.

Ryatie - maybe you can get part time housekeeper, will relieve your load a lot. 2 hrs every weekend pun jadi. My maid has gone back for her 2 weeks holiday, so penat jugak when I have to help with the housework at my mom's place (with 6-8 adults staying there).

I train dia. she used to get cranky at 7pm, 9pm, 12. sleep throughout after midnite. cannot take it if she everyday midnite or 1+ baru tidur. I sleepy ard 11. I target 9pm dia tidur. 9pm to me best! coz enuf time to play play. somhow then she adjust herself to 7 or 8pm hehe. training mean - I dun let people pay with her 1hr before bedtime so she bored, get sleepy. 30min before bedtime - i off the lights, sing her lullaby. had to do couple of times

your schedule sounds tiring. for me, being a teacher, i always try to cabut by 3.30 to 4. but it means that i bawak balik homework berlambak2 lah. so when my daughter sleeps at 9, that's when i chiong some more. on days when i have to leave at 5 or 6, i get extremely tired. so i absolutely understand how you feel. do you have a helper?

no helper but I stay with my mum who takes care of Nada and home. anyways I dah tak tahan, quited to try work from home. Tiredness is one thing. another thing that bothers me much more is I cant spend enuff time with my girl.When I do have the time with her, i am distracted. cam mind tak tenteram gitu. dun feel gd to handover the care to my mum either. pasal my mum dah old. its just a matter of time before she cant cope. prefer I take care myself rather than maids or childcare. c how the work from home goes

Tiredness is one thing. another thing that bothers me much more is I cant spend enuff time with my girl.When I do have the time with her, i am distracted. cam mind tak tenteram gitu. dun feel gd to handover the care to my mum either. pasal my mum dah old. its just a matter of time before she cant cope. prefer I take care myself rather than maids or childcare. c how the work from home goes

I pon heran apsal kat s'pore ni working hours panjang giler. Ms Suzzanna, correct me if i'm wrong, tapi kat France pon working hrs not that long kan? Kat peru pon sama. In fact dorang galakkan less hrs so more pple can work (and share the income pie). I guess s'pore ni dah terlalu cepat. Kalau slow down, habis lah coz human resource is the only thing we have. Urgh. Sampai kerja cleaner pon boleh 10 hrs straight. Rabakz ah ni tempat...

i was a SAHM for a year last year and yes, being with my daughter 24/7 drove me up the wall at times!! so, i'm dependent on my mom and siblings. if i need to go for a haircut, i'll drop my girl off at my mom's and hurry to the salon. kalau ada tuition, i'll also send my girl to my mom's. without my mm, i would have gone mad last year. hahaaa!

It's undeniable we're all dependent on family support. I'd have not only gone mad, but bald too I think (as of now already I think my hair dah banyak gugur & white hair pon dah appear).
Everything's done in a rush, ey? Mandi, makan, masak, even solat! Time dorang tido pon kadang, I rasa cam kelam kabut jugak coz worried dorang bangun. Cuma time tido malam ajer aman sikit, and dapat catch up on online (window) shopping & surfing the net. Nasib baik ada net, kalau tak, terus jadi zombie agaknyer.

yes. everything is rush rush rush once we have kids!
on the hubby - alhamdulillah. mine is hands-on. when my daughter was still breastfed, we agreed that i'm in charge of input and he's in charge of output. so, in the early days when we religiously changed her diapers 4 hourly, in the middle of the night, i'll wake him up to change diapers. now, he's the one who wakes up to make her milk. i can depend on him to take care of our daughter in almost all areas except preparing her food.
still, i find myself rushing for everything. why ah? i think my time-management must be improved.

I have to second all who have said we are living in a rush. Semua kena rush rush rush. Kalau tak rush nanti ketinggalan pula.

Naddy, my sentiments exactly. I still love teaching but I hate admin work plus all the other extra work that the school piles on us. Right now I'm truly enjoying what I'm doing coz no extra nonsense anymore. Come to work at 12 balik at 6.30. No CCA, no meetings, no one will kacau during holidays. Just plainly teach. No need to susah susah cari.

are you on part-time, relief or adjunct scheme? i think i dont dare to quit yet. (i came in before 2002 so my mc is 30 days/year. i have yet to max it out but you never know when you will get sick enough to need 30 days of mc) so, i may go on part-time some day soon.

I'm on flexi adjunct. Resigned in 06 as my then principal refused to let me go on part time. Seriously I was always down because although in a single session school, asyik balik 4-5. No time for my son, tired with my 2nd pregnancy.
Now husband said I'm way happier. He said if I nak balik teaching permanently, he won't allow. Hehe. I must have been a difficult and grouchy person back then.
