i transferred my indonesian maid to another employer last year. i didn't do much except to sign an authorisation letter for the transfer. the new employer has to settle the rest of the documentation.
you must do it early cos there is a processing time for the transfer. mine was done quite late and i had to continue paying her cpf levy until the transfer was complete (maybe about 2 weeks) after i left the country and she continued to stay with my family for another week or so cos she couldn't go to her new employer yet.
i read in the papers recently that there might be more paperwork now cos the indonesian embassy wants to be informed of the transfer and for this, you need a certified agent to do for you.
