First time mom here ! We selected his clinic at The Venue due to convenience but wondering if any mummies have experience with delivering with him? Any insight is appreciated

Yes! He delivered my 2 kids!

I also chose his clinic because of convenience.

I did all my major scans and test at KKH (cheaper) but also had regular appointments with him. I feel that he will tends to be more on the careful side so he will monitor you closely if anything happens.

For my first one, I went into his clinic the day before cause I thought my mucus plug came out. Showed him a picture but he said it wasn't. He did a check and then showed me his glove and said 'this is the mucus plug.' Was 1cm dilated. He told me to go to the hospital tonight or super early next morning. Checked myself in at night. He came in around 8am, bursted my water bag, gave some hormone drips. Told me that sometimes could take a while so he will see me in the evening. He was wrong. Nurses called him 11am + to come back. I was pushing before he arrived. I think he came around 12ish. Baby heartbeat was getting slow so he used the vacuum to 'suck' baby out. (Note: have never discussed birth plan with him)

2nd one, had bloody show and cramps at around 6am. Checked in L&D around 7am. Same thing, he came again at around 8+ to burst waterbag and check the amniotic liquid. He came back around 11am to deliver.

Overall I feel he's not too bad. Quite decisive. Will take his time to address your concerns and also not too pushy about things.

What else do you want to know?

Thank you so much for sharing! A lot for us to consider. Did you end up doing his packages or just did scans and tests at KKH and regular consults with him ?? One thing we liked about him is that his consults are not rushed but on the other hand appts with him are always having to wait least half hour after appointment time (he arrives late or has spillover) and sometimes I felt like he brushed off alot of my concerns or more severe symptoms and gets abit cocky after a few consults hence we are considering if we should continue or not. I guess cocky is fine with us if v competent which is what we trying to weigh out.

I got the package for my first one. I actually wanted to get package for my second one as well but I think he didn't dare to take it up cause I had some bleeding and probably also because my pregnancy was from fertility treatment. Actually, both pregnancies were from treatment. So I don't know..maybe he want to earn more money? Lol

The wait time can get long and once I had to wait around 2 hrs cause he had to go delivery. Haha. But that's a risk with any gynae.
