Any feedback for dr don wong at admiralty

I signed up with him on sept, package is $660/690 I can't rmb. Routine scans, consultation, tests, etc. supplement is calcium n iron only, other than that u have to buy it yourself. So far so gd..

If you not taking package, pls don't go there. the treatment you got is not worth the money and I don't have a good experience with him.

I personally didn't like my experience with him. He wasn't my gynae when I was pregnant but I went to him for fertility check. Just didnt like the way he talks and assume things.
I have also got a colleague who was wrongly diagnosed by him for a cyst case. And ended up had to go to KK for emergency surgery to remove it from the ovary.
So when I got pregnant I totally abandon the thought of going to him although he was the nearest gynae in my area.

Wow luckily I decide not to continue with him for fertility treatment. Went for first consultation but he did not answer my question when I asked him why am I spotting a week before period. Decided to see another Gynae instead although Dr Don is also nearest to my place.

Had bad experience, i was not signed any package under him as im not delivered by him end of the day .
and i did't get to diagnosed the GD and also i also had excess amnio fluid earlier when I visited him. All these only get to found out when near end of my pregnancy week 30plus which is too late. im very dissapointed and upset because of all these negative factor and i was not advisable to try VBAC (Vaginal birth after cecearean) as the gynae which wanted delivered my baby saying unable to wait untill week 40 for GD patient
Ended up went for csec , as i also not suitable to induced as my #1 is csec too.
if that is diagnosed earlier and i might can having some control for my GD.
to my surprise, when i ask for a EDD letter that would cost $10 for that. i felt that it's too commercialiase for everythings. overall the money paid is not worth the service. kind of regret i visited him cause i choose the sake of conviniet which is nearest to my place !

Hi honeydonut, yeah after his don't care attitude shown on my last visit, hubby and I decided not to continue with him...although he gave me a dose of clomid to regulate my cycle.
Will be seeing Dr James Lee at mt e novena this Friday. My colleague saw him during her pregnancy recently and say he's quite good.

hi, im also currently with him n had just sign the package with him. actually i find him ok leh. not really very bad.
just that mayb the way he speak.hahaha. but overall im okay w him as long as my baby is healthy n fine.

Every pregnancy is different case , gynae choice is really up to individual.
as long you are comfortable then its ok .
for me, he is not up to my expectation help to smooth my delivery plan.
hence is a bad experience for me. Just sharing more information for all mummies so can decide on which gynae to choose.

Personally had a bad experience with him. I think he is too commercialise and not helping me in smooth delivery.
Signed up a package with him, I'm plan for nature delivery and informed him. He made appointment the next day immediately after due date for hasten delivery, but end up became emergency c sec.
I feel some gynae very urge for hasten delivery to "close" the case asap after due date. I think hasten delivery have a high chance to become c sec.
Just sharing my experience.

Hi if this thread is still alive would like to give a recent review 2023. Not exactly pregnancy related but I have seen Dr don wong (gynaelink at Admiralty) for my cervix issues. Was skeptical at first due to low google reviews but it was mostly for the clinic staff/ the GP next door. dr don has been extremely patient on explaining my condition and during procedures he was very gentle. Above all his charges are very reasonable compared to other gynaes, first consult only $90 while subsequent $40. Furthermore his doctor fee for procedure was lower than the average too. I heard from a friend that during her pregnancy he even gave his private number for urgent matters that arises during her pregnancy which is a big plus as not alot of doctors does that, his panel are TMC & Mount A. However he is a male gynae nevertheless strongly recommend, we are ttc and we will definitely go back to him for our pregnancy.
