Advice needed on breastmilk storage bottles

Hi,

Am returning to work soon and will be expressing in off. Need advice on good, affordable and non leak bottles to store expressed BM. I'm using ameda pump and it's a standard neck (fits medela bottles). Medela bottles are quite pricey.

Is pigeon BM bottles good? Any other recommendation pls? TIA

Hi Pebs,

For mass storage, its cheaper to use breastmilk storage bags instead. Its dont take up so much space in ur freezer ya.

Hi Pebs,

I have more than 100 preloved bottles (glass and non-BPA plastic) as I just managed to stop nursing last week.

I toyed with both options: bags and bottles but ended up with bottles coz less wastage due to spillage during transfer and breakage (super heart pain) due to expansion in the freezer or sharp ends of bags puncturing each other.

Indeed, bottles take more storage space in the freezer. I got myself a new freezer just to store milk for $290.

Let me know if you are interested. Selling cheap as I am officially retired from breastfeeding
