Lots of babies around this age already have small tiny teeth, but my son still doesn't show any signal about that. can anyone help to advice me? thank you.
Hi,
No worries, my girl only start teething at 13th mth and now at 18th only has 4 teeth. As long as they hv the full set of teeth by 3 yr old would be fine, this is the advice given by the polyclinic.
i check with my PD. He told me that normally baby teething at early months is due to the body have more than enough calcium. As my boy (5 mths) have two teeth now.
But as long they grow healthy is ok. Early or late they will still grow teeth.
Haha...my girl is turning 11 months soon and there's not a single tooth erupting yet. Based on my older girl's experience, her first tooth started to show after she turned 1 year old and now at the age of 3 years old, she has all her teeth. In conclusion, I think it is fine for babies to grow their teeth later. But of course, being a first time mum and when we see the surrounding babies having their teeth, we tend to worry if there's anything that goes wrong with our children.
I found some facts in the internet (justfactsbaby dot com) about when do babies get teeth. It says that the average age of the baby to get a tooth is 6 mos others would probably have their first tooth when they reach 18 mos.
My 11 mth baby only started sprouting his teeth after 8 mths. And then suddenly so many appeared! So within a couple on months, he sprouted 8 teeth!
So don't worry, each kids is different & unique your babe might also sudden wake up with so many new teeth too ;-)
My son only started bottom 2 around 9.5M, the next week, top 2 area swallowed, he is exactly 10M yesterday, right side of the top swells. So far, only bottom 2 started to show a little, top 2 haven't bite out yet.
