My 2mths old baby boy having rashes badly around his neck, almost entire legs n even his fist also start to have! Seems like it's spreading all over n is pretty bad.. Had went to the doctor but doctor says it looks like heat rash to him n does not precribe any cream for my boy to apply -.-"
Any recommendation on products I can use to apply to help his rash to recover? Or any suggestion on what I suppose to do?

hi yvonne, u may try to use Aloe Care from santique which is 100% pure and organic . Suggest to use Suzzy shanpoo and shower gel for baby gentle skin. is organic as well. not expensive cox my kids also use both when they born

Hi Yvonne!

Don't fret as the doctor may be right. I heard many babies get heat rash as they are not used to the humidity outside the womb and the best thing you can do is keep it dry and airy. Hope this helps!

my daughter had this when she was 1 month...i was also told it was due to heat and i was breastfeeding and taking a lot of heaty things and that didnt help... give him water and maybe try powder that worked for my daughter... i used coolling powder.

doc said is due to my hormones not yet adjusted..and my bb drinking my breast milk

but doc assured it is common, will go away within 3 to 6 months time..

indeed, the acne are gone when reach 2 months ++

hi vonnsmile,

Rainecath is right, that rushes or acne is common to the child w/in 1-2 months. It also happened to my daughter when she was new born until 2 months and what doc.said to rainecath was the same what my doc.said to me that it is normal to the new born child.

Apply bm onto small patch to see if it helps. Bm is amazing for any skin ailments on the bb. I apply it on their facial scratches, mosquito bites. Small dab will do. It's like how we also apply bm on our sore nipples. The rashes, scars usually fades within a week.

My 2 month old girl had rashes which started from the cheeks and earlier this week it slowly spread to the neck, upper body and thighs. I read in another thread that bathing the baby in jing ying hua boiled in water can help get rid of the heat rash.

Tried it and it really does work! I started bathing my baby on Thurs evening and today only slight rashes left on the cheeks and neck.

for heat rash, you can mix baby powder with a bit of water to form a paste and pat it all over the rash when baby's asleep. works for mine.

Hi, my so have the the same condition. Right now I'm using cataphill brand soap to bath my son and I use AI physogel cream.

Calamine lotion works well for my son, can be found in most pharmacies. It could also be an allergy to the laundry detergent or soap powder used to wash baby clothes. Try changing to another brand.

Hi, I have 2 tubes of atopiclair for sale. It's a non-steroid cream for eczema. It was for my daughter. Her skin has improved a lot, hence don't need it anymore. Bought for $52 each. Letting go at $40.

Thanks

I'm using Calamine lotion for my baby too, if it doesn't seem to irritate your baby, just use Calamine lotion is good enough. If it's pimple acne like, better bring your baby to a PD or GP, might be eczema. Mine developed mild eczema on her face after the intital viral rash attack all over her body.
