Thanks. Its stopped a while ago i guess. Only that one off red spot. Afterwards its just a little brownish discharge (similar to those that i usually got at the end of the period). So i hope its ok now ><

I'm feeling so down.. I have a tot of not wanting the baby but I do not bear to. I hope baby is healthy and well but it's so hard for me to handle alone.. The father of this child I feels he is not responsible.. We hasn't got married officially and I feels he doesn't seems keen to.. We hv been tgt for 2 yrs plus but all he cares are his business and friends.. I'm really feeling depress and helpless everyday.. Wat shld I do?? ='((

@jerlicious , not married officially means not ROM yet?

maybe u got to have a talk to him. Men are thick. Most of the time they cannot detect your feelings and sometimes u just have to be direct and tell him what u r going thru and what u feel. maybe he thinks that it's still early in the pregnancy and nothing much has changed, but in fact there's lots of changes in you, both physically and emotionally.

that being said, you could also be a little bit more sensitive now so things get amplified. something u might shrug off last time maybe u feel is a bigger thing now. end of the day, have an honest chat with him to let him understand that u cannot help being sensitive (it's the hormones' fault) but he can be bit more sensitive towards your needs and feelings. i guess this would be your 1st child so you might not know exactly what to expect as well. this would add to your anxiety cos u r worried and unsure?

if need to there's always this forum for u to share your feelings and let off some steam. hang in there. i'm sure he cares!

Hug. Maybe u can talk to your parents too? Im sure they will understand and be supportive if u want to keep the baby and if (touch wood) your bf is not supportive.

Im sure everything will be alright at the end of the day :)
 
hi! I'm new here. im at 7 weeks and I'm with dr ho at mount a. my HCG is pretty low hence I took proluton jabs every tue n fri to stable the pregnancy. now I'm switching to injecting cream daily (like putting tampon) during festive period cos the clinic isn't open. dr didn't inform me on my EDD yet but I've calculated, shud be 13 oct! :)

Same here, Jerlicious..! Starting to feel warm. The past few weeks I off air con and I still feel cold. These two days start to perspire a little. I was worried about being cold, thinking something is wrong, now finally feels like Singapore. Measured baby at 1cm on Wed. So I am 7wks. Praying the ms will continue to subside.

Happy Chinese New Year everyone! Wishing everyone a smooth pregnancy and baby arrive safely into the world!
 
Hello, expecting my #2, edd 10 oct, seen dr ben tham on 13 feb to confirm and detected heartbeat via v scan.

#1 is a bunny boy. 2nd visit will be on 3 Mar after my bkk trip (but frankly no ideal how will i survive the trip cos i'm experiencing m.s this time round)

Bloated stomach, feeling queasy all the time, super lethargic , feeling cold, no appetite ...
 
Hi all, just found out I'm pregnant on CNY eve. I shd be in my 6th week now. Had severe headache for more than a week, missed my period for 10 days, sore nipples n bloating but I didn't quite believe I was preg, just tot it was PMS cos we had been trying for some time now n i didn't think i would be blessed so soon. I finally plucked up my courage to pee on TWO sticks n both had very bold lines. :)

so far, my bloating n constipation quite bad. I also started waking up in the middle of the nite to pee and I can't sleep back! And I have very weird dreams. Nausea started today n my appetite has been on n off. Looks like the symptoms are full-blown for me!

my friend swears by ginger tea. I read online that peppermint tea works too. My bloating comes together with constipation so I've been taking fibogel when I need to and it works.
 
Are there any mum to be out there that doesn't really experience any MS yet? I sld be about 7 wks now but other than nausea alike feeling that feels like what i usually got when i got gastric (a little gastric alike tummy discomfort), im still ok (fingers crossed). It makes me wonder till i took another pregnancy kit again today to confirm if im preg. Heh

I'm like u now... Currently 7wks...

Also having mild nausea alike feeling, bloatedness... My symptoms are getting milder by days which makes me worry too...

With #1, can say that I have ZERO ms...
With number #2, I'm getting abit of ms only..

Based on my past experience, don't need to waste another preg test kit...

Hi all,

I tested positive on 8 Feb after missing my period for a few days. My gynae appointment was originally scheduled on 23 Feb but because I have some light spotting, the doctor advised that I went down immediately (on 17 Feb). Actually it was a brown discharge and I read that it was normal. But it will be over CNY and I know that I will be worried. So I went down nevertheless.

Doctor did an ultrascan.. We can see the sac and doc said that it was in the right position. Probably about 5 weeks now and there is no heartbeat yet (which is normal). The spotting could be from implantation and he said might continue to spot. He prescribed utrogestan for me, 2 capsules every night.

Next appointment is on 27 Feb and doctor said must have a heartbeat. *stressed*

My gynae is Dr Lawrence Ang from Sun Plaza/TMC. He delivered my 3 lovely nephews and niece and the clinic is near my place. As opposed to the other reviews that I read online, he spent quite some time with me explaining to me what will I be expecting/going through. The only thing is that during my visit, he had 4 calls to answer from his mobile phone and all from his patients (mummies/daddies to be). Good thing is that I feel he will always be around for his patients and the bad thing is that he is really very busy. He told me that he will be in SG over CNY and can call him if I have any questions/problems. *thumbs up*

Anyway, I am feeling worried cos I do not have any pregnancy symptoms like nauseous, morning sickness or bloated. In fact, my appetite is very good and feel very hungry before meals. I don't feel anything different except for the frequent needs to go toilet. My husband said I should be grateful that I don't experience the symptoms. But I just thought that it will feel more "real" that "I am pregnant~" if I experienced those ;)

*Do leave me out for the table first.. wait till I hear the first heartbeat.:)

Hello.. actually I'm in a similar situation as u.. my first gynae appt was too early to detect anything.. only can see 7mm waterbag (I was abt 4-5wks then).. gynae said need to wait for it grow until 20mm then can see bb.. till now haven't see gynae.. next appt is 6 mar.. now on folic acid.. and I have no ms now.. earlier still will feel nauseous but now totally no.. so sometimes also will get worried cos can't feel the pregnancy n haven't detected bb n heartbeat..

Ya.. I am taking folic acid too. mine was 10mm according to the ultrascan pic. hopefully 27 Feb won't be too early for my bb to hear the heartbeat.

I just realize i forget to take my folic acid since monday night! I hope it's alright. Brought it with me overseas but i forget to eat

should be ok.. cos my previous 2 preg I also forgot to take folic acid at times.. and they are healthy growing up well (4 this oct and 2 this sept)

27 feb, u will be Ard 6wks?
Might be able to hear heartbeat..
All will go well.. Don't stress so much.. I also don't have much ms now...
 
Wonder if anyone experience the same..

I have been ttc-ing for months and everytime during the 2ww (2 wks wait), my body will send me "fake early pregnancy symptoms" which will last until AF arrives....

Now at 7wks, my ms are disappearing... Which naturally got me worried....

With #1, I don't have ms as well but I don't it from the start...

With #2, I started to have ms as early as wk3 till wk6+ only...

I really hope everything is fine & am going to not experience ms like #1...

Yes should be able to bear heartbeat at 7+ wks.. Or at least see the flickering light which is the heart beating...

Usually from my experience I will miss my Mensus 1-2 weeks before I get a pregnancy test kit done
 
Those with dr goh shen li, where is she now? She was the one who helped me deliver my first one cos my gynae was on holiday. Her csect so-so cos i have a big scar and my massage lady says it could have been better.

i waited till i was 9 days late this time before i tested. i was actually very afraid of testing early n being disappointed so i wanted to be very very sure. The line appeared very fast and was very dark, meaning my hcg level shd be quite high already. I think if ur menses is very regular, maybe u can try after it's late 3-4 days but be prepared that it may not show. If so, maybe can re-test a few days later if ur menses still absent.

from what i know from kkh, u need to select ur own gynae if u test positive. if u want to enjoy subsidy, u need to go thru polyclinic n be referred but u will be managed by a team of doctors so each visit u may see a different gynae n u cannot choose gynae.

I'm more kan cheong. Haha.

But from past experiences, having pregnancy symptoms + late menses doesn't mean u r preggy... Sometimes the body just give u the symptoms cos u really really
Wanna get pregnant so it's all in the mind... I get that every month...

U can go to any Gynae but preferably to wait Ard 7wks so that u can see the sac and detect heartbeat...

A lot of ppl advice to check bb when they are abt 6-8 wks. So Tt they can hear the heartbeat. I hv experience in miscarriage before at wk 7 aft hearing my bb heartbeat just 3 days ago. If u feel everything is well then go gynea when ur abt 6-8 wks lor. (Once u confirm test kit positive then call for gynea appointment) For me I went earlier cos I hv a block Fallopian tube (hv tenancy to hv ectopic baby) or high chance of miscarriage so I hv to be safe then sorry. In e meantime jus take folic acid and check preg kit aft u miss ur Mensus for a wk ya. =)

from what i know from kkh, u need to select ur own gynae if u test positive. if u want to enjoy subsidy, u need to go thru polyclinic n be referred but u will be managed by a team of doctors so each visit u may see a different gynae n u cannot choose gynae.

Hi.. Congrats to all.. I just tested positive yday so am prob abt 4week..im first time mummy.. When shud i plan for a scan.. Im nt sure if I shud go sooner as I had one blocked tube. Edd is ard 30th oct
