one of my friends swears by the 14 - 19th day from mensus Day 1 BD period. For her two children, she only tried between 14 and 19th day and struck both times within first 3 months.

So I'm also doing the same...have been TTC only two months. Hopefully will strike soon. : )

I staying at Sengkang area, read from forum that that's one at serangoon North n Hougang Ave 5, that's quite popular. But that's some bad reviews abt the plc. I guess that's gd and bad comments at every plc. Jus like some ppl say it also depends on 'yuan fen' with the physician.
I heard that we can interpret alot from our BBT chart, seems like someone who got low BBT lacks of certain hormones, anyone knows abt it?

actually whether is the 13th to 16th day or 14th to 19th day depends on your cycle. ur most fertile day is the day that is smack in the middle of ur cycle. so if u r a 30-day circle, ur most fertile is the 15th, 16th day. if u r a 35-day cycle, it's the 17th or 18th day.

I'm also interested to know where yr TCM is located.

Do u noe how long that lady tried TCM before she conceived. I used to try TCM but after taking the medicine for 6 mths, i had a m/c. So hv given up since.

BD failed yesterday for the 12th day cos of my baby boy's unsettled sleep. sighz!!! Will try to see if we can BD tonight or not .. (*blushed*)..

Anyone has any idea whether breastfeeding will hinder the chance of conceiving? I am currently still breastfeeding but have menses reported full force.. any comment?

Now is my fertile week, today is day 16, got to work hard tonight. Have BD on day 11 &amp; 14 liao, hope I can strike this cycle.

my mense reported yesterday.. so my clomid 2nd cycle didnt get me gd news again.. now into my last cycle of clomid...

i counted back my 31 days of cycle, with 31days cycle i prob had ovulate arnd day 16,17,18, and we did BD on day 15 &amp; 18.. why nv strike.. ?!

hv to wait for another 2weeks for my fertile period to try again liao..

Hi dumbger, maybe we should just BD every 2-day interval. Sperm can live in the female's body for max 7 days. So, we won't overly stress ourselves with keeping track of fertile period.

Gonna order more pre-seed from US. It only cost USD$14.99 as compared to SGD$30+.

didn't know got side effects one ...

haha, i was jus thinking out loud that if we do this method of "keeping" the sperm inside for 7 days, it will mean i'll get my wish to have a bb girl.

i undestd fm books and gyn that oly at times when the ladies'cervix mucus is fertile then the sperm can live in us @ the max life span of 5 to 7days. Else in most cases the sperm can oly live abt 2-3days or even lesser like 1 day.

That why for TTC, GYN recommend alternate days during fertile period.

Agree with dia, sperm cells can't survive too long. Thats y Gyn recommend to BD alt days...but then become mechanical liao.

Dun be too stress up. Maybe you can try to go for a trip, but choose place that is cooling as S'pore weather is too hot not good for the sperms. I have been trying for almost a year and strike in US during autume time. Good Luck!

cos hope to have my 1st little before 30...and my new flat won't come before last quarter of 2011..so staying with in-laws..also not so much of "er ren shi jie" also..haiz..

My colleague conceive in the same month she got married in Jan this year, so lucky lor and so envy.

Hi ladies..me going to Batam with hubby alone to celebrate our 5th wedding anniervsary tomorrow, so excited, finally can have a good rest without my boy.

But then tomorrow is day 21 liao. This month BD quite diligently, really hope can strike but then i try not to be stress.

Dear all, i am new here...

I got a question and hope i have an answer... hehe.

I did an ovulation test for the past 3 days but shows no sign (negative). Will i still get pregnant even though the test is negative? eg. Yest morning i did a test (negative), but evening time it seems that my mucus shows that i am ovulating. Then i "try" last night. This morning did the ovulation test, still negative.

Hope u all understands wat i am talking abt. hehe. thanks...

u tested it in the early morning?

typically u shld test yr LH using the OPK in the evening... think coz the LH surge the most in the noon, and yr evening urine till capture most LH... also that u shldnt drink too much water b4 the testing time, as it will dilute the LH.

I did a test today and it is positive. hehe. hope i am not too "late". I did the test in the morning coz the clear blue ovulation instruction kit said so. Furthermore, i always drink alot of water during the day so i am afraid the test will be affected. hehe! if this cycle i am not pregnant, i will try testing it in the evening then, although morning is the time more convenient 4 me. hehe.

Btw, anyone tried the ovulation test kit but didnt managed to conceive?

Have been MIA for awhile. Busy Busy...I did a google and realise I only have 2% chance of getting pregnant if I still continue to BF.. Sighz! By the way, if we go test with the pregnancy kit on the 20plus day before the next menses (for e.g 1 Mar is my first day of menses, and if I test on 24 or 25 Mar with the pregnancy kit, assuming 28 days cycle), accurate or not? Sound a bit weird that such question comes from a mummy of one.. hahaha.. but I have become dumber after giving birth. Sighz!! For my first one, I actually has the feeling that I am pregnant..

Ovaluation kit shows one is ovaluating but does not mean got eggs being released.. I have a friend who has been having menses and tested positive with the ovaluation kit but can't conceive so went to check with a chinese sinseh and gynae and hence confirmed that there is no egg released at all for her.. very poor thing

LC, but if ovulation kit always negative, does it mean the chances of ovulation or releasing of eggs even lower? Hai... don't know what to do man. I went to see Beijing Tong Ren Tang last Thu. Taking some chinese medicine.. yucky drink. Need to see sinseh one week later to check again. Cos' she says that the past 3 mensus cycle may not be mensus but something else. I don't know what she's talking about also cos' her Chinese very cheem.

Hi Bena, yes... folic acid can be taken at any time... pregnant not pregnant, mensus no mensus... cos' it's just like a vitamin. Folic acid helps prevent baby deformities.

i am taking the bbt each day, and my result also v rocky.. but it could be becoz there are some days which my temp is taken either much earlier or later.. do u have yr bbt chart to share?
 
heheh, new, i just started tracking for the past 5 days only...so i don't really have much data to share. but for these 5 days, is roller coaster ride. it ranges from 35.98 to 36.41...heheh.
The sample charts i see from websites are like very stable, then sudden dip, then increase...which the dip = O day izzit?

I would think so. If ovaluation kit shows negative, meaning the person is not even ovaluating, let alone releasing eggs..

ya..i did read that when the temp dipped to the lowest mean u prob ovulating tt day.. but to be fool proof, it shld follow with 3 continous days of higher temp to show tt u hv ovulated..
