the extension only caters to the chest size, not breast size right? i also will put on my extension later, just managed to dig it out. i dun wanna wear nursing bra now cos they are so ugly, though definitely more comfy

belt extension oni possible as long as your thighs dun increase in size right? mine are thunder thighs. plus you need long shirt to cover?

Thanks.. actually I am more systematic beforeI had my boy. I planned everything even before I was pregnant.. hahaha.. though its planned but not all worked out cos there are certain factors that we cannot control...when is your EDD? I called my nanny and seems like she cannot really reply me if she can take me or not.. She will reply me a few days later .. hopefully she can cos she is really really good and will take care of the basic housework too. Finger crossed..

Thanks, I can't drive.. and my hubby's working hours dun make getting a car worthwhile.. so car is out of the question. I am now banging on getting my regular cabby uncle to help though he is quite old but guess he wun mind cos drving cab for him is moreof passing time..
 
Hi LC, He can walk very well, even running, but when he is outside he want to be carry.... I tried to force him to walk by refusing to carry him saying that I very tied, he is a big boy and need to walk on his own. He will then cry while walking...

BB2, now i only wear those soft cup bra, no more t-shirt bra anymore as soft cup bra/lacy bra is still able to fit. For the belt extension, I also have thunder thighs but as most of my pants are wide legs, i can still fit in except for the waist area. for shirts, ya will need to wear long shirt to cover up the belt.

LC, oic it is sure lots of logistic to think of...
 
why 2nd time mtb all upgrade very fast one. sigh~ dunno where my bra extension gone to..

i like women's secret bra.. ex but comfortable. i bought the wireless one.

bb2, i also try to tu till as long as i can, but seem cannot, sob, no choice go and dig out my maternity pants from "cold storage" and wear.

bb2, i kept all my maternity clothings as initally was planning to give to my sis once her TTC is successs who know, i faster than her so hehee. u still need maternity clothings? 2 of my gfs are waiting to pass me theirs once my 1st trim is over.

the nursing bra har? mine not really seen thru so i guess it ok,

Maternity pants are the most comfy in the world. Haha! actually I prefer my formal work pants but can't button liao.

last time also after delivery, I cont to wear my casual maternity pants for some time...hhe
 
pinktulip, yup yup, they are the most comfy clothings to wear. I have some maternity skirts which I still wear till now as well, hehee! They look like normal skirts except with the elasticity keke!

re maternity clothes : i'll prob get new ones too. cos those from previous pregnancy was passed around till i lost them. too troublesome to ask them back.

read some of you already hv ppl giving you seats on train? wow... for me, i still look very normal. think it will hv to be around 4-5 months before the bump is obvious.

someone mentioned confinement nanny? i haven't call mine yet. but also wondering whether need or not, or ask MIL to help. But she may get too tired...

Bethel - Umm, why 3 cycles? Because I am already 36 now, and will be 37 when I give birth next year (if I conceive now)... and umm, nope, this will be our fourth child.

LC - congratulations on #2... don't worry too much... at this stage, just enjoy being preggy... things will work itself out. just a matter of figuring out what's impt and meets the needs of your family lor.

Yah, if I can conceive this round, I will have to give my nanny a big hong bao to convince her to come and do confinement for me also... but see how lah. conceive already then say. LOL.

btw - my #1 and #2 are also 16mths apart... so yes, it's very tiring... but I like to "yi4 ci4 guo4"... but now, #3 is already 4+ going on 5, and #1 and #2 are already in P3 and P2... haha. So much for that lor.

DNA - last time my children also go through that phase. Something that helps to "bluff" them into thinking they are holding onto someone... Let them hold onto something as they walk, instead of your hand. Something solid, like maybe a small plastic bottle or something. Not soft. Then they forget they are not holding your hand, they will walk by themselves. It's about confidence. So it's also impt that the adults are not kancheong that he will fall. The babies pick up the "kancheong" vibes very easily.

Haha, I "listen" to you all talk about getting back old clothes and clothes giveaway, I also headache. I have no baby stuff at all. Everything got to get from scratch. Some more last baby, no one to pass down, so sayang to buy brand new. Hopefully on the board can find some good 2nd hand stuff that is still in a reasonable condition lor... See how lah.

Sigh, baby haven't even conceive, already thinking so far... so silly right? Oh well. I've been waiting for this baby for a long time... try on and off don't have. Admittedly, busy with the 3 kids, so also not very dedicated to trying lah... got mood as and when lor... some more cycles all haywire.

Anyway, hopefully I'll get to know some of you. I hope you ladies don't mind my jumping in like that. If you have anything you'd like to know, can ask me also :p
 
Oh yah, DNA - saw the later post on why your boy don't want to walk... 2.5yo.. they may not understand fully, but still can explain lor. Tell him cannot "sit" on the baby... then beginning he cry, let him lor. Try to distract him. If keep giving in and carry when he cry, then he will keep crying lor. Children very clever one, pick up on such things very fast, know how to bully the parent/grandparent if you don't know how to tong3 their nonsense. Haha.

My children, once I preggy, I don't carry. Daddy will carry. With mummy, always walk. Haha. Sometimes ppl think I very chek4 ark3... cos last time my boy 3yo, we sit tour bus he fall asleep... (he very heavyweight, I think that time already got 15kg) then reach destination already I wake him up make him walk... then got one auntie pa-gua, say "aiyoh, so poorthing, why you wake him up?!" but I don't care lor. Unless she offer to carry him mah. Haha. So my kids know. Last time my #3 will tell me "Mummy is not strong. Mummy cannot carry me. Only daddy is strong." LOL... OK lor. Suits me fine. haha.

this is going to be headache. dunno wanna get back my pervious one or don't do. if do myself will be cater confinement food and take care of bb myself. dunno can make it anot.
 
haha, red tea... no lah... nothing to do with brave. This is called siao. No lah... hubby and I really like kids - thankfully we have been quite blessed to have kids who are not the "monster" kind - quite manageable. Of course, not perfect lah... so got many vomit blood moments... but not as bad as what I see sometimes. So OK lor.

Haha, I not pregnant, I also look like I perpetually pregnant. Right now, I can pass for a 5mth preggy woman! Haha. Never lost all that baby weight. Told hubby he must sponsor me to slimming center after this baby... LOL.

Wah, you are brave lah... wanna do confinement by yourself...I sure cannot one. My CN last time was a godsend man... The first two only ask MIL... wah when got CN for #3 (I also happened to have a c-sec for #3, so just as well), wah, like in confinement heaven like that. So shiok. Now spoiled already, def need to have CN around. Haha.
 
red tea - this bra must order from abroad ah? locally don't have? Can we find it here? I seriously need new bras... but cannot find the correct fit. My old maternity bras all so lan4 liao...

but i agreed with you about the carrying kids part. My 3YO boy also knows I dun carry him - cos he is just too heavy. With the daddy, he will wrap himself around the dad's legs and he will get picked up. With me, he'll just guai guai hold hands and walk.

redtea : think better get CN. do you hv helper at home? i cannot imagine doing confinement myself, cos i cannot cook!!

this time round, will be staying be ILs but prob will still get CN cos i'll feel awkward making MIL do all the work. For CN, i know i pay her good $ so just relax and rest.

Yes, I also agree with you... that having MIL vs CN... CN definitely better! With MIL, very paisey to ask her to take baby at night... with CN, I could safely leave baby with her (esp with my c-sec for #3... sigh).

Bethel - haha, OK lah... not say we very rich also. I am a SAHM, surviving on hubby's income only. But OK lor. We make ends meet. I only give one boy tuition, twice a week in the mornings. That's all. And I hire a part time cleaner come to my house once a week to help me clean. No live-in maid. But the kiddos are bigger liao... not so bad. If all doh-reh-me small small, I will definitely not be so eager to have a 4th yet lah. Haha.

regarding breastfeeding during pregnancy
i know a mum who managed to breastfeed her 1st child through her 2nd pregnancy and she even tandem-fed both of them for almost 1 year before the 1st child decided to self-wean.

LC, I'm sure you will work things out. Congrats on testing positive!

Gals, juz now went i went to Raffles Hospital, I realise that they use those machine ("where u walk pass and in the screen can c ur whole body temp"), now was kind of worry, will it affect the baby??
