My son attended Shichida in 2009 @ Toa Payoh .
A lot of home practise to be done and flashcards making for your child.

ms tan: He gg to Toa Payoh 12.15pm. When u gg for the parent class? I am abit scared my son would be very restless leh.

I purposely prefer aftn timing so that she had her nap if possible. Actually was given 2.15pm slot earlier then later she called to tell me hv 4.15pm slot if I wat then I quickly confirm that slot instead.

Anyway, class 1hr only so pretty fast.
Oh, actually for Sun class, later I realised that this term we lost out 1 lesson becos of Labour Day....

But no choice as no more Sat class (as I still prefer Sat late aftn class)....;p

I going parent class on 13 &amp; 20 Apr.
Think all standard - same date &amp; timing as think they book the whole auditorium.
Maybe we can meet each other there ?
 
i shifted my elder girl to a single bed with my mum sleeping on the pull-out section. I still put a bed rail on my girl's bed to prevent her from falling onto my mum.
moscato, if you intend to let your bb sleep in her own room, i believe one of u should accompany her in the intial period.
i'm using safety first portable bed rail, its extendable, not fixed length.
 
I'm going to the parent class on 13 Apr. For the other one, I haven't discuss with my hubby which one to go. mstan, cleo: you all going with your hubby?
 
yup..i will accompany her for the initial period..
will be a tough period because she will be going to childcare around the same time if i can get a place for her
 
Ainsley Yip: The irobot sounds quite fun. If i forget that I set the timing and it comes out on its own, I sure get a shock! haha. I will get more details from you when DH okayed the irobot purchase. =) Btw, will irobot accidentally suck up toys?

Mummies: Is there any good (and not so expensive) classes for my 16 mth-old? Need to let her socialize a little before she starts pre-nursery next January. TIA!

Jaclee, yx slping on single bed alr? I hv a toddler bed for nn bt the bed rail is only half the leng mtg of the bed. Think it's enuff to prevent her fr falling when she sleeps? I Duno leh. Sometimes I feel like trying bt the way nn slps ah, can turn all round de. Lol
 
ms tan: i only know I am gg on the 13th of Apr. haha! sure, let's meet and attend together. at the tpy branch the vacancies very hot, sun i was only given one slot. The rest no more le. So no choice.

jaclee: no, only i attending alone. cos my hubby sure fall asleep wan. hahha!
 
Ainsley, ya.. Yx sleep on single bed alr. Actually my rail also half of the bed. But I play a bit of cheat, I position it such that I can put two pillow at the two ends to block the opening. Actually I have two rails, but I only used one. So that yx can come down the bed by herself when she wake up. I don't want to block all her passage , else she will just go over the rail to come down.

I sort of forced my hubby to go with me. Keke.. Coz such a long lesson... Plus at least I got someone to discuss with if I dunno anything. Hehe...

Mummies, coughing and a lot of phlegm cannot feed fish?? I v confused Liao, thot chicken cannot, then today my hubby say he heard fish cannot. My bb dun like pork, end up like no meat can feed liao wor!

I use seaweed , cheese and crabstick for the red portion. I took nearly an hour to cut this out. Ha... super slow cos this is my first time I am doing this.

MsTan, May, I'm thinking of starting RL on daily 2 hr PG in June when she turns 18 mths. But MIL as usual commented that she still cannot talk, how to go to school. But my no. 1 also learnt to talk and sing after going to PG cos she learned from her peers and teachers.

Finally registration for next jan (pre-nursery) is done! Phew!

Now to serve my final months of notice &amp; hunt for an affordable good sized resale flat &amp; sell my apt &amp; do interior design myself &amp; plan what i want to do with my kids when i stay home etc. Geez! Why do i feel like i have even more things to do than before i quitted my job! Tsk.

Btw, my son's first shichida lesson was havoc. After 15mins,he could not sit still. Kept running to the door &amp; pointing to it and touching everything in the classroom. Oh boy! Hopefully things will get better after a few lessons.
