Wah.. So Many post!! I'm so worn out with both boys.
Genesis, congrats!!!
Talking. Ok I'm quite relax at this. Keith only knows papa, mama, mum mum, now learning po po. Other then this, he speaks in his own language. Can blabble non stop and scold ppl.
Walking. I think once their ready, they will walk themselves. I myself is a slow walker. My mum say I only start to walk steadily when I'm around 2. So I'm not worried cuz I thought Keith will be like me. Who knows after weeks of cruising and walking few steps, he suddenly keep walking and walking the day before I gave birth last month. We are all caught in surprise. In fact, the credit should go to my mum. She's the one keep encouraging him to walk. Sometimes when he fell, she's the one who stop us from helping him and say let him learn. Now Keith is walking faster and faster.
Ivy, I also got the activity table! Quite fun. Lol.

Koonie, my mum gave my newborn a bit of jfs, coz she is having so much phlegm that she can't sleep well. I was googling abt this and found some negative news, so thought of asking here for second opinion. However, it seems to work the first time, subsequent she still can't sleep well.
Think I cannot keep up with my girl's appetite. Always want to latch... Cannot tahan already..
Lollipop, think a bit stress my supply will drop. Sigh.. Will try to be in a relax mode when latching or pumping.
Any bb enrol in playgroup esp in the west area? Any reccomendations particularly in jurong area?

Snowpear, lucky for me no MS, actually is the opposite... Keep on eating. My tummy is getting bigger n bigger Liao even though now steeping into 2nd mth unlike the my first one 1st trimester cannot see anything.... My edd is 31 oct still haven't told my boss yet abt me Preggy.... Dunno how to break the news....**sigh**....

My mum is helping me now on top of doing the confinement for me. So we are a bit busy as I need to take care of both while she is cooking for me. I think after confinement should be slightly better. Even though with my Mum's help, my girl is a terror. Can't keep still, always want attention and super like to climb up and down. I might need to work out something like playgroup for her so that my mum can ease some load when I start work. The second one always want to be carried, and I can't do anything at all except when she is fast asleep like now ... So When she sleep I also need to sleep, else no time for me to nap at all..

hmmm, it has been quite some time since my gal has jab, clinic called up need to give her MMR jab liao, wonder want to give her drink any 'pao sheng' before she go for the jab or not.. previously did not drink anything she also ok... any bb here going for MMR jab soon? hee hee this time she sure cry previous jabs she did not cry at all doc also surprised haha....

Been bz sourcing the childcare for bb kiren. Took leave last week to take a look @ some of the childcare near my house. BB kiren seems to enjoy all of them! Hubby & I Sat thru' the class with him in every childcare for abt 1hr each. Finally decided to settle for Eton House @ Vanda Rd. But he is currently on wait list # 9 for pre-nursery.
Will only know in mid yr. Any comments on this childcare?

DecMum: BB kiren has gone for the MMR jab mid last month. Will develop fever a few days after the jab. Just keep a lookout. =)
Congrats to all mummies for being pregnant again! =) It is not easy at all when you have a baby but JIAYOU! The little ones will grow up together and enjoy each other's company.
On another note, whose baby is attending childcare already. Mine isn't yet but I am starting to look around Kovan/Hougang area for a suitable half-day childcare. I went past AMK hub's "Skoolhouse something something" and wa, the waiting list is 92! And it's not cheap too at $1K plus a month. I nearly fainted.

my boy has been waking up in the middle of the night lately! it's killing me.
i think it's due to me weaning him off his pacifier. he cant go back to sleep without pacifier. hope he will get over this phase soon!

lollipop baby: Yes, although I am a little apprehensive about losing my income, I am actually looking forward to spending more time with my kids especially when my #1 is in Pri 2 and he eats lunch of little nutrition at the after school care he goes to, and I really want to cook for him.

Yunzz & Fitti : we went to see a few along my place, and found that Eton gives us the best impression. It is not as expensive as what we initially thought. The most expensive one is Chiltern house, cost SGD3K+!!!!! Hubby & I just have to spend lesser as we think that infomrative years are pretty crucial for child's development.
And by the way, Kiren is on wait list # 11 and not 9, as there are 2 kids who have booked last yr. =( But i reckon the chance is quite high.

Fitti : That's at Newton branch, read abt it in "Kiasu Parent Forum". Will i think it is 2 sides of the coin; and cannot hear one side story. Have to go & feel it yourself. Hubby & I brought kiren to the Vanda Branch (5 mins drive from our place), we felt the warm & sincerity of the principal as well as the teaching stuffs. And what makes us decide to go for it is when children came to hug the principal when she shown us around. Children would lie; she must have done something wonderful for the kids to be so receptive about her. And we were allowed to stay in the class for an hr, and watched Kiren playing with the kids & teachers, he seems to enjoy a lot. We have chosen this Etonhouse after visiting after childcares and also based on our gut feel. The promixity is also one of the deciding factors.

Jaclee, haha. Our bb both same month. Lol! Keith also very chor lor! Once he tried to pry open Leonard's eyes without us looking! Now he loves to poke him. Treat him like toy, squeeze his hands and legs, wanna take off his mittens.. I'm sure he still dun understand about siblings too. Initially he will cry when Leonard cry. Like symphony. Now better Liao.
Snowpear and genesis, still can take care of our elder kids de. I had the worst ms but still struggle through
as I'm the caregiver for Keith.
Now it's me and maid with some help from Hubby after work and my family. Still can cope but crazily tiring! I didn't have proper confinement as it's hard to follow with two in hand.
Btw, I brought the two for jabs ytd. Chaos ar! Lucky Hubby n mum tag along. My silly Keith still mistake another lady as me as he went to lie on her lap! Wah piang!!
Keith is one skinny boy. Weighing 9.5kg only. Just almost average. 78.5 in height and got big head. 48.5cm. Lol!
Leonard is 5kg at one month. Up 1.5kg since birth.

Of course what's most important is how you and your husband feel about the place. If you feel that it is suitable for your child, then you shouldn't feel otherwise. I was just sharing how a "brand" can be rather different from the actual fact.

You still got chance since you have put your name @ Pats. they don't even accept anymore. I read abt the things @ Eton house Newton in Kiasu Forum but very vague; so don't know what's going on.

I'm new to this thread. Am a 2009 dec mummy. Just wondering if anyone else is facing the same problem with me abt getting a pre-nursery place for their child. My son is born on end dec and it seems when I called to enquire abt registration, some of the kindys do not even want to take him because they feel he is too young to join the jan intake next yr.

hehe, i cannot quit cos partner will faint, hubby will faint too, my mom will faint too. I think i will faint too since so use to be financially dependent and able to support my family, and also to use to going to work, dunno if stay home will be frustrated or not.
