i had to rest before another try but at least 2nd time it was quick. my first time, my BB was very active keep moving ard so cant get the neck measurement...at least i can c BB for a long time .....haha ...

Dr Wong is going oversea in late Dec and she advise me to get another gynae coz she is afriad that i might deliver during tat period. she recommeded Dr adelina wong so i guess she shld be good

i was abit unsure initially coz she's not as popular as dr joy wong and not many commens about her in the forum.. but actually i like her on my 1st appt! she's very nice and patient!

ya i booked my details scan too..it's on 14th Aug.
u know, initially when the nurse scan, she din show me the screen leh...after about 15mins, then she ask my hubby to come in and only then we can see BB...it was only about 10mins..she oso din say much abt size, gender or EDD... was it the same for u?

dun worry, if dr wong recommend shld be good but now i am not sure if i shld continue with dr wong or look for another gynae ....

u booked the details scan where? no 1 ask me abt the booking...i heard some say will booked during Oscar .......

for mine case, both time, they showed me the screen so i can see the BB ....mine the nurse din say much but i asked her the size and gender...but gender she say too early to tell so she only measure the size for me.

if i am u, i would change gynae because i dun wan to see a different gynae during my last few weeks when i tink i will be most anxious and i dun wan to haf a different gynae help me gif birth..i would not know them and hence dun tink i will be comfortable wif them..they would not know my condition either...
mayb u discuss wif hubby and decide bahh..

actually the clinic nurse helped me to book the detailed scan together becoz if u take the oscar+detailed scan package, it's slightly cheaper..

My tummy now look like 5 mths... quite big.. I can feel them move a bit.. Maybe due to multiples babies... I did research and said that tiwn and multiples have earlier symptons. I think like after delivery can do massage.. Like 2 days after that....
I think I will just shower hot water... and no night shower...
Mine not bladder problems but the baby when down... Mine is very gentle massage... so far today seems ok leh...

my hubby say he leave it up to me ...i really like dr wong but i am also afriad that she is not ard when i give birth then the other gynae duno hw good...anyway i will look ard for other gynae then decide so cant sign any package yet.

when i make payment today, they told me that dr wong say i am suppose to take the package too for oscar and details so i took and pay but they nvr say when to book ....actually hw much cheaper coz i duno the actual price also...

yap both nurse also turn the screen to let me c when they start screening ...so happy

Yuki, i think the 20th week detail scan, the gynae will book for me leh, i din book myself. I also using Dr Jocelyn Wong.. i edd 15/12.. oh shit i better ask when she going holiday.
 
Re: Post-natal massage
For normal delivery, massage can start almost immediately after. For c-section delivery, massage can only start 2 weeks after.

if i remember correctly, i tink it's only $7 or 8 cheaper lah...not alot..haha

still waitg for dr wong to call me on the results! nurse say she still busy wif patients.

to be safe, csect can only do massage after 3 weeks, if u want to do after 1 wk, i bet u will scream in pain, cause by then ur wound still fresh, havent recover, the massage lady will also refuse to do for u.. some pple after csect still walk bow legged n in pain even after 1 wk... i was quite fortunate that i could walk by 2nd day but it was super painful
 
roxy: i only walked on 3rd day cos I dont dare to hahahah. Somehow after putting the binder, not so painful. But when u remove the binder, its painful! My total full recovery time was 2 months.
 
calamari, i was quite lucky, tink i fully recovered in 1-2 wks time, tink i have high pain threshold... imagine, have to go through that all over again......now my wonund getting more itchy, duno is it because preggy... wat abt urs?

roxy, i'm big everywhere haha... i have stretchmarks on my thighs from last pregnancy. i wonder how some women can look so beautiful during pregnancy. skinny legs and arms and only a tummy sticking out. hehe.

shaine, i drink all sorts of tea... at least once a day. yes including chrysanthemum too, though old ppl will advise against tea.

I'm going into week 17 next week but my morning sickness has not worn off!! The puking sensations kick in everyday the minute I wake up!

Yuki - my package last time was OSCAR + FA 20 weeks, and when I was going to do my OSCAR, they put in an appt for me for my FA @ 20 weeks. I changed the date when I went to see my gynae because I wanted to time it with the gynae visit so that I don't need to take leave/mc so many times.
 
Yesterday went shopping for furniture at IMM ended shopping for baby clothes. So sad, seem like most of the baby clothes are for girls, baby boys discriminated against!!

Gosh wat a HOT Saturday!!! I have 2 bags of laundry which need to be fold, but seems I'm not in the mood to do it... Maybe later when the mood comes...

My appetite has is back to normal.... I can eat alot but weird is at night no mood to eat!

weird hor, should not it be week 16? coz the package starts in week 16, so i should go in week 16, right? will ask nurse next week.

dr wong called me last evening! my oscars results is normal! risk of 1:16000... hubby and i very happy and relieved!

i am in my week 12 and still getting turned off by many food. apetitte has not returned! i wonder when will my good apetitte return!
 
skinneybeenie, wow u going in week 17 so fast ...i am only at week 12 but i do not have morning sickness so still alright. yes it be good if FA scan and gynae appt together so dun have to keep taking off .....do u use the gynae MC for each visit or u took your personal leave?


yunzz, ur result is good ...... the nurse told me my gynae will inform n explain my Oscar result when i see her next week...so counting down now... for my case, the package is either week 12 or week 16 so appt will be in this interval but my next appt is on week 13 ...

i usually take half day leave, since I din want others to know. But now that some work ppl know, I'll take MC when I can. But cannot take MC every visit, not enough also.

yunzz - my package started at week 12.

Is anyone getting DHA pills? I got DHA pills from my gynae, then my colleague told me it's not necessary cuz her gynae at Gleneagles said no need. Dunno abt it, but they're damn ex!
 
roxy - my colleague was telling me she was relieved when her first one was a boy. My hubby and I dun really have strong preferences, but we prefer boy to be older one so that he will know how to take care of family next time.

my colleagues kept saying that only in 5 months then can tell gender. for me, was super early, during OSCAR scan in week 12-13. the sonographer told me herself she could see, i guess rare that babies are so willing to show hand.

Yes im taking dha/epa pills abt $1 per pill... it really depend on u..if u take alot of fish in your everyday meals, then no need to supplement, but if there's no fish in ur diet, then i guess might be good to supplement...Yeah, actually doesnt matter whether boy or girl as long as they are healthy.. best is 1 boy 1 girl, then can form a "hao" word.. but actually same gender also good, they can play n bond together easier n share clothes

roxy, thanks for the update. i put on 24kg for my first pregnancy, but i managed to lose 28kg, slimmer than b4. but judging from my "progress" now, i should be the same wt as b4

btw my #1 has juz been admitted for kawasaki disease... ...
 
I also haven book CL. Thinking to call my SIL's CL by end of this month. Hopefully she is available.

Jo, if u want, I can help u to ask her if she has friends to recommend? Otherwise another alternative is maybe u post in the earlier months tread to see if their CL is available.
 
Hi princessgx, how is your son now? Sorry me a 1st time MTB, not sure of what is kawasaki disease? But hope he can recover soon! I find that children falling ill is really a very painful thing for them and parents. Sometimes seeing them so in pain, and yet we cant do much to reduce the pain, this is really something very heartache for parents.
