Genesis, me too. Last night, thought it's contraction pains but after that, nothing. A bit disappointed actually. hee. 
Mine is this Fri, 4 Dec. If still no signs, Dr Wong is also going to talk to me about inducing. Will you consider inducing on EDD or earlier?

Hi Tris,yes he told me he on leave from 6-16 Dec.
I am due on 28 Dec ....so he be back on my 38 weeks.
For me, he scheduled me every 4 weeks then next visit 3 weeks later on week 38 when he is back ..he told me will see me weekly after week 38 which i tot shld start on week 36.

Oh ya! Remember to put 1-2 continence sheets under your car seat if you are still leaking. The water will leak all the way until you reach hospital. For me, it was like that. Water just gushing down non stop.

can wear a night pad to help with the leaking on the way to hospital. actually if your gynae is okay with it, you don't have to rush to the hospital straightaway as long as your amnio fluid is clear and you are not having brown or greenish amnio fluid.

Once you reach hospital, they won't allow you to walk around and may not allow you to eat as well. So, eat something before you go. Drink some chix esssence (if you do take) and bring 1 or 2 bottles there for your hubby as well in case it's a long night.

morning mummies, been missing for a few days cos busy with my princess..
Congrats, miumiu.... finally... c ur bb already. and also congrats to all mummies who pop..
Now I kind of miss those days when I could be free and sleep through the night. My baby ah, always drink milk till she falls asleep and very hard to wake her up to latch on the other side.. tortured me for 2 hours last night.

I see..13 Dec should be very fast le.. cos most of mummies here.. seem to deliver 2-3weeks earlier.. except for a few.. very close to edd... juz relax and njoy now.. thou I know carrying and walking with that big barge not ez... (same for me)... but when bb is delivered.. it will be a tiring day everyday too ;p

manunited: its quite rare that California Baby products will give your baby rashes. Nevertheless, if the rashes is bad, can apply a few days of Desitin cream first. It will help. Hope baby's rashes will be better soon.
As for pumping, 2 to 3 hours is about right. Once you establish the supply, then you can go 3 to 4 hours.

my bb is 2.8kg but lost a little weight but oki lah.. itz normal.. mi shd be discharged on fri..

yup under Prof Tee, the impression i get from him is 'quiet & efficient'. no major complaints except he doesn't say much unless u ask him questions. hopefully my whole labour will be 'efficient' under him haha.

calamari, my mom said drink water after deliver will end up with tummy... i wanted to ask her to boil some red dates longan tea for me.. coz i told my MIL, she was saying 'ridiculous' n said can go ahead drink plain water...

If not, the hospital will assign you one. As for my gynae, he always ties up with anaesthetist Dr Phua. I used him for my no.1 and he is very good, no pain at all. Didn;t even know the epidural was already administered. And throughout the epi and c-sect procedure, we were chatting away like old friends haha.

I know it sounds scary that you will be cut up but seriously the pain is bearable. I have a super low threshold of pain and allergic to almost all painkillers and to me, its still ok. The pain will be more from the contraction of the womb. However, because its unnatural, the pain will really totally only go away after a few months and the wound part will be numb for about 9 months. And you cannot carry heavy things for 6 months nor exercise for that period of time. I avoided eating seafood although I did succumb to temptations after a few months lah hahaha. And to prevent keloids, apply the cream that doc give you religiously. The scar may look long in the beginning but it will shrink as your stomach shrinks. My scar shrunk to only 3.5 inches after 9 months. As you can see, natural birth is always best but sometimes circumstances don't permit. So don't worry k? All will be well.
