saw a lot of medela 2nd hand...so might try for it. avent de mostly those sold off de is without the warranty le.

mi also not yet prepare everything...clothes havne't wash, pad havent bought...oh ya...for the disposable panties, is it go to watson buy those normal dispossable panties can le? or there is the special one for mummy de? as i see those pharmacy de the size all so small leh. i'm fat lady now...sigh...
 
Normally where mummies go shop for the hospital thing ah? like the pad la...panties la..baby things la....i dono where got one shop can let me buy all the thing eh...

hi mummies, just went to my checkup, will be admitting to hospital for bedrest cos gynae say i might be due anytime but i not yet 34 weeks.. pray hard, i will give birth after 34weeks.. i just ordered my nursing gowns n bra from fave, but think no chance to wash..

i tink i nid to join the nov thread liao
 
W.Joe, i'm angry with my boss too, but i cant change anything. At least I'm getting paid during my ML, I'm contented. My boss is also a father, he should also know the sufferings a pregnancy woman goes thru, yet he still like that.

I bought my disposable panties, pads and stuffs from Kiddy palace. They have almost everything, but their prices may be slightly more expensive.
 
W.joe, i bought those 'maternity disposable panty' from the bra shop at my area the aunty know i preggy she know the type for us to use maybe you can approach those bra shops in your area?

try to relax and dun worry too much. worrying will make it worse. Talk to your baby, tell ur baby to mai kan cheong and stay inside until you are ready
 
W.Joe : u can get pads from any pharma like guardian or watsons. I got those overnite adhesive pads. I got my disposable panties at John Little. I heard those watson panties are no gd.

DecMum, errrr....i dono whether my area got the bra shop ornot..haha...i thk toa payoh centre shd have ba, but need to go survey...so means the maternity panty is not like the normal disposable panty when we go for travelling la?
 
oh mstan8888, you just got the normal pads la...just got those overnite and for heavy flow de. i tot need to buy those really for maternity de pad....
i did buy the panties from watson...those paper de, but size too small, cos all just free size nia.

Panties I got fr JL becos remember someone mention this brand think called "impressions" very gd &amp; is for maternity use, not so thin like paper-$4.50/pack.

w.joe, i bought one pkt of maternity pad with loop. will use normal long pad after i finish it. disposable undies i buy at kiddy palace. abit like cotton material.
 
mstan, jeanie, thanks for the info for me to have some guide on where to buy...shall go shop around le. last sat only able to get 1pc of maternity pyjamas. will get the nursing bra too, but they out of stock. will go to look for it again. now getting more and more tired...and feel breathless too...too heavy le me...haha...

re maternity pads.. tmc uses the loop type and each time they use, they put 2 or 3 together, so 1 pkt sure gone very fast... not sure will they use th adhesive one if we provide, but being the KS mother, i'll be bringing along 2 extra pkts of maternity loops one... adhesive leave for home then use.. they give glass bottle milks not the powdered form.. its ok for babies not to drink any milk first few days cause they are already fully fed inside the womb... dat's wat happened for me, bb refuse to latch and i had no milk, so first few days he went hungry, till i couldnt bear it and ask nurse to feed him some FM..i still rem the first time i pump in hospital i managed to squeeze out 65ml hahahaha was so proud n happy and even took pix of it ;p


for panties, i just use normal disposable watsons type... maybe just buy bigger size

do we need to bring our own breastmilk pump to the hospital? or hospital will provide?

W.joe btw for the disposable panties, i bought mine from ntuc. not bad the material, is like woven cotten , not those paper type. got sizez up to XL, is quite comfy i tried. not ex oso, bout $5 for a pk pf 5 or 6. is ntuc own brand stated premium disposable panties.
 
Justalamb, me bringing 2 sets at least, in case stain ma. dun bring light coloured wan oso cos can see if got stains. tats wat my friend advised
 
For those at TMC... i actually bought the same disposable panties that the hospital provide during your stay. It elastic n veri comfort but the price is rather quite ex at $4 each pc and free size.

u can get it at the pharmacy dwnstairs
 
W.joe , hi hi my MIL oso bought sarong for me leh hehee... my hub say wear sarong more comfy for us, stiches will heal better.his friend told him wan.
 
sarong i will wear at home during confinement cos is more convenient. but in hospital n discharge tat time i will wear track pants, cos look nicer ma.

Mstan8888, hi mayb u can consider ameda dual pump? i bought tat cos is not too ex. normal price is $388, but during baby fair or discount period can get bout $350 like tat. the reviews r quite good actually and is a hospital grade pump oso. not noisy like PIS.

1+ mth to go &amp; still hv not get pump so rather 'kan cheong' in case bb 'pop out' early.....;p
 
mstan, same as me lor....i also kan cheong, but my hubby always told me ...aiya..no urgent la....till now everything i oso not buy and not prepare yet....
see so many will pop out during their 35 or 36wks....means just few weeks left only....worry..haha
 
So exciting...all of us getting ready for the big day!! I still havent finish washing my bb clothes, towels, bedsets...my MIL say wow so much clothes for bb??!! Hahaha...

I bot the pureen brand pads...got a shock when I open..so huge!!! But very very soft. Saw the TMC pharmacy selling also but more exp. I'm bringing 10 pads (mix of pureen + normal ultra heavy pads)...should be enuf hor? Also pack 10 breast pads in the bag. Will need to go figure out how to use the breast pump soon

W.Joe, Mstan8888 , can chk review in the smh forum under breastpumps. i was oso deciding btw freestyle n ameda for a long lime. in the end took ameda cos price wise is cheaper n freestyle is relatively new model so not sure whether is good not. PIS is too noisy so its out. since I'm a 1st time mum and not sure whether i will hav enuf BM so i decided to get ameda in terms of price wise and more practical ma as i dun wan to buy hand pump 1st den later buy electric wan again. u can chk out tis shop in United Square or novena, tink is called mums n tots or mums in mind ...forgot the name le sori. dey selling the pump @ $350 . not too sure bout free gifts though
 
or if u can tahan till xmas sale den can get from isetan or robinsons, tink will hav at least 10 to 20% discount plus freebies maybe??
cos my dee is 28 nov, so i cant wait. i bought mine @ taka baby fair, no discount only got a bottle of free lanolin oil for nipple lo. if u can get in states it will b cheaper but no warranty lo
