2-in-1 steamer blender: Ok to use the excess liquid from steaming for baby’s food?

Hi, I am currently using a steamer cum blender to make purées (stage 1 food) for my baby.

Quick check: Is it ok to use the excess liquid/water formed after steaming to blend baby’s food?

I recall reading different opinions online:

Some advised No, as the balance liquid may not be “clean” eg. still traces of pesticides, etc. Hence to discard the water.

Some others said OK, as it contains the nutrients from the food that is steamed.
