HB puffs I tried once letting my boy eat. I break into smaller pieces and he nearly choke on it. So scary. I think need quite a lot of saliva then can melt the puff? I don't dare to let him try anymore.

Connie, You see, I'm also a blur blur mummy.. Yup most times is small letters and I only teach Big caps. Never thought of.. I use those slot in alphabets to teach him to recognize. It's good that your daughter likes to follow what her bro says. I expose them to vocabs, not just letters.
