I know it feels like forever but sometimes HCG climbs a bit slower. Don’t give up hope yet. Try to get some fresh air and get out of the house. The implant would have happened by now so some slow walking and fresh air will cheer you up. :)

Hello dear... I sense your desperation. I got my BFP 8dp5dt, so around 11dp2dt but it was faint. Please don’t give up! When if your blood test? Btw, very high dose of stims is not always the best way to get good quality eggs, esp in your case of lower ovarian reserves. You could consider a...

It’s quite normal as your body is adjusting to the hormones. Also we tend to eat slightly differently when we’re pregnant so digestive system will take a toll. Just continue to eat healthily, avoid raw food (incl salads for now) and keep yourself hydrated. As long as you’re not going more than...

How did the blood test go? I also had episodes of diarrhea in the very early weeks, once during the 2ww and for the next 2-3 weeks after I got BFP on the beta test. 9 weeks now following successful FET. Baby dust to everyone

You discuss and agree with the doctor how many you want to transfer. And they will thaw the exact number usually. The technology is quite good now so usually the embryos will survive the thawing.

Stay optimistic! Continue to eat healthily and get plenty of rest. Very common that IVF preganancies experience spotting. Be timely administering the progesterone supplements. Our body is not producing any in a medicated cycle or fresh transfer cycle, so you need to give it lots of progesterone...

There’s an ongoing govt subsidised clinical trial at NUH, SGH and KKH, for women that meet specific criteria: >35yo, history of lack of success with IVF and/or multiple miscarriages. The trial is intended to demonstrate that PGS can greatly reduce miscarriages and complications during...

If you do a medicated cycle, it will be about 6 weeks after your retrieval. But you have to tell the hospital immediately so they start you off on your medication once you start bleeding.

Yup, that’s because NUH, KKH and SGH are conducting the PGS as a 3 year clinical trial and they’re trying to prove the hypothesis that PGS and transferring only viable (normal D5 blastocysts) can reduce miscarriage and reduce complications during pregnancy. When we discussed it with Prof Wong...

Previous retrieval only got us 4 blasts. After one year of being much healthier and changing to a much less stressful job... we got better yield :) Doctor said transferring 2 only marginally increases the chance of pregnancy, like from 25% to 27% that kinda thing. I’m not young... and we’re...
