    Travelling with baby

We brought our 5 months old to Japan in November. We nursed her during take off and landing on our way there, but on the way back she was sleeping soundly so we just let her sleep and she was alright. I will try to find a nursing room when I'm out but if can't, have to nurse her under nursing...

    Anyone been on Crinone?

If I'm not wrong, it is a type of progesterone so will increase pregnancy symptom. My gynae ever prescribed me Dusphaston, crinone and proluton jab twice a week at week 20. I immediately fell ill and had all the pregnancy symptoms coming back - nausea, dead tired etc

    Pregnant with Polyps

I had polyp during my 1st trimester. Maybe due to growth hormone, my polyp grew a lot within one week such that I bleed. I had a surgery at my gynae's clinic to remove the polyp. There was some discharge for a week or so and I have no more problem after that. Why not consider removing it as I...

My plan was to start coconut water at week 37 and I will have about 3 weeks to spread out. Didn't dare to drink earlier becos I'm worried it will be too cooling and I'll have premature labour. Then at week 37, my gynae suddenly said he planned to induce. So I drank coconut water almost everyday...

Any reviews on PEM Confinement Agency?

I went through PEM to get a CL. Currently doing my confinement. We didn't specify any CL as all those we wanted are not available. We are fine with a randomly assigned CL since PEM promises 2 free replacement. So far we are satisfied with our CL. Agree that the sales staff are all very pushy...

I gave birth to a healthy girl last Thursday at 38+6 days. She weighs 2.96kg and I put on less than 2kg. I actually stopped taking measurements about 1-2 weeks before the induced birth as my hb said I should not be stressed over readings and just enjoy the rest of the pregnancy. Baby's blood...

anybody can refer me for cord blood banking?

We chose stemcord also. Main reason is that we can store the cord blood in 2 packets at 2 different locations. If touch wood need to use 1 packet, you still have another packet left.

My gynae said he plans to induce me next Monday already cos GD mums may have unknown complications. Will be week 38+3. So far I have gained less than 2 kg, baby at a normal weight of 2.7kg at week 37, and i have enough fluid. Wonder any gynae informed you all must induce earlier and not wait...

I think it's natural that your readings will increase a little as your pregnancy progresses since your body is producing more and more hormones. Weight gain may slow down or even lose weight as we are cutting down on sugar intake. My friend who is not pregnant also lost weight significantly...

If your readings are within range, that means your glucose is under control? Once or twice high readings should be ok wat. I don't understand why they say you are developing insulin resistance when your readings are within range. When I was 33 weeks, my baby weighs 1.85kg. 2 weeks later at 35...

Yes we plan to get the confinement soup package from them too. However I went to 2 different outlets to ask about what to do with natural delivery vs caesarean and got very different answers. One told us if caesarean only need to take 2nd half of the full set. The other one told us need to take...

My gynae's clinic uses Freestyle Optium. I find that the readings still varies a lot when I do consecutive pricks on different fingers.
