    Dr Mary Yang

One of my acquaintances intro me to MY quite some time back as I had difficulty conceiving. She managed to solve the root problem. When we decided to go with IUI, the lab reports came back not so good by her standards. IUI attempt failed. I found she was quite rough when doing the vaginal scan...

AUTISM, ADHD, ADD, etc - SUPPORT GROUP!

Hi LA58, maybe you can try go polyclinic to get referral for EIPIC. But the downside is the long waiting list. I'm not sure whether they offer 3-hour, half day or full day programme. The upside is the relatively cheaper fees since subsidies are provided by the govt.

Anyone did not have help during confinement?

I didn't get a CL for my #2. No help from hb n inlaws. Limited help from parents. Ordered confinement tingkat that arrived warm from Newbaby. Portions wise was huge but quite appetizing. By the end of confinement I was quite bored with the repetitive food. It's doable to do your own confinement...

    Menses during breastfeeding??

Hi applemom, generally it's true that when bf, the hormone prolactin is produced which stifles ovulation somewhat, which ultimately affects the menstrual cycle. but when, i would say it depends on the hormonal levels. After lochia, my menses didn't return until my #1 was 18 mths old. he self...

Hi JJL, you are welcome. Yes better to have the experts at KKH to assess your boy. I also agree, cannot keep too quiet at the cc. Like when my boy said a bad word which his therapists and us at home have never used it. the cc replied saying they will look into it and possibly avoid such a thing...

Hi icy_cold, all the best for the ABA therapy! Hi JJL, sorry to learn about the issues your son is having at his CC. Your son appears to be a kinesthetic learner, where the style in which he learns, sadly borders on an ADHD suspicion. This URL may give better insight...

    Treatment for Infant's cradle cap

Hi panerex77, I don't know any mild shampoo to treat cradle cap. But I swear by shaving off the hair completely and applying aloe vera gel which acts a moisturizer after that. The cradle cap was gone within 1 week. I worry that using a hair brush might irritate the skin, somewhat like scratching...
