Hi Maddy at 6/7 weeks the doc can see sac with the "yolk", and maybe hear heartbeat. Its more to make surw that the embryo has implanted at the right place not the fallopian tubes or something. Best time to see gyne is 8th week I think.

Sleepy- i am 37 already, hubby turning 40 soon. I just for an ultrasound scan because i had a cyst during my first pregnancy. The cyst is gone and everything is clear. Gyne gave me a slip to go for blood test on CD 22, i think to test if the egg is viable or something. Seeing Dr KT Tan at KKH...
