    IVF/ICSI Support Group

Yes, you are right. It was stressful to me personally even though I have regular cycles. The tracking of O and I was literally camping at KKH every other day for scanning. Needless to say, I failed the Natural FET. With medicated, it was a breeze indeed.

I did coz after several failures, I wanted to try other methods. Infact, I switched TCM just to find one that does acupuncture post-ET coz not many TCM does that.

    Mummies with hypothyroidism

Don't worry ok. At least you know the underlying issues and you can target it to get it right. With the right docs, treatment plan and positive mindset, things will work out eventually but of coz, certain things are still beyond our control. I succeeded with twins and they are 5yo now. My IVF...

And that's where I found out more abt Dr Sheila Vasoo. So she kinda work hand in hand with my IVF doc and she will work out the plan on...

    Mummies with hypothyroidism

I have very high TPO as well if you could refer to my results and I was on euthyroxin. I guess it does affect my fertility coz my lining and everything else is ok but always have implantation issues. I didn't take it forever...once the levels are controlled, I was off it already. But during my...

    IVF/ICSI Support Group

Having a child is not a bed of roses. The challenges are A LOT tougher than the TTC journey itself. Infact, I remember breaking down in front of my doc then (Dr Tan HH) when I went for a usual review coz it was just super overwhelming after the kids came along. I used to think like...

    IVF/ICSI Support Group

You might want to consider changing a TCM. I had a very bad experience with Dr Zuo at AMK and I went only twice and never ever went back again.

    IVF/ICSI Support Group

If you are considering TCM, go to those who does acupuncture as well. Yes, you won't see instant results for sure but give yourself at least 3 months and consistency is the key. At one point of time, I was going for thrice weekly acupuncture sessions. It definitely helps in building up my lining...

    IVF/ICSI Support Group

Yes, at one point of time I was really disheartened and felt that it doesn’t work. The mental and emotional stress is a lot more overwhelming than the jabs itself. At the end of the day, it’s really your mindset (read: metal perseverance). And as long as you have tried your best e.g. exhausting...

    IVF/ICSI Support Group

JTS, this was what happened to one of my cycle buddies previously. Ironically, she transferred 2 blast but apparently 1 blast didn’t make it (she had bleeding with blood clots) but the other actually split so still ended with twins. She & her hubs has no twins genes in the family so probably its...

Looking for help on getting 7 year old daughter out of diapers

Indeed, at 7yo will definitely be able to reason with her unless she does have some phycological barrier which needs to be addressed by the professionals. Otherwise, other than doing the prep-talk and letting her choose her own pretty undies, you should also stop stocking on diapers as she will...

    Slipped disc... physiotherapy?

I've slip disc and its on L4 & L5. When I have a relapse, I can't walk and very difficult to get out of the bed and my leg will be numb with tingling sensation. Getting in and out of the car is a nightmare. My recent relapse I went to A&E to get a jab to relieve the pain. You can also get the...

    Bleeding at Week 5

I had spotting/bleeding/cramps when I was 5 weeks+ into my pregnancy. My twins made it and they are 4yo now. Other than increase in support med, I was on support jabs on alternate week as well till the end of my 1st trimester. You might wish to request from your gyne.

    IVF/ICSI Support Group

Previously I was left with one 1 day 3 embryo and Dr Tan HH advised that I go for another fresh cycle. Coz not forgetting the risk that it may not survive the thaw and you’ll have nothing to transfer. So that was also my consideration thus I went ahead with another fresh. Just my 2 cents worth.

    Recurrent Miscarriages

Hugs. I can totally relate. I had 7 IUI/SO-IUIs, 2 fresh cycles, 1 natural FET, 1 Chemical Pregnancy before succeeding on medicated FET and it took me 10 years. Based on my past experience, I consulted Dr Vasoo first before deciding the next course of action as I needed to find out the root of...
