hi shuyan, i don't think it is a 'must' to do both MCU & DMSA on same day. For my case, the PD only advised to do DMSA after the MCU showed that my son had urine reflux. But not to worry, the tests actually do not hurt so your bb is not suffering. MCU may be uncomfy cos it is invasive...
