@iwantahealtbybaby and @jklim, I had natural FET with late ovulation at D24 on a regular D28 cycle. Pregnova & progesterone support helped lengthen the LH phase. My implantation occurred on D28 when my AF was supposed to come. So natural FET is still possible.

@mrscheng - my hubby also had low sperm count and low morphology. Took 6m of TCM meds to improve sperm count before IVF. Low morphology can't be helped. My fresh IVF was in 2011; 8 eggs fertilized with 3 reaching d5 blasts. Transferred 2 fresh and now have a 22 month old boy. Recently...

If you are referencing to bazi, please note that the horse year is from 4 Feb'14 to 3 Feb'14. Babies born between start of CNY to 3 Feb'14 are technically not horse babies.

@sm00thie, I think cruise trip is fine since not subject to air pressure like in a pressurized cabin. But don't sit in the swimming pool for too long cuz that's water pressure on your body.

Prenatal vitamins and DHA. The gynae will probably prescribe all these during your first visit. So see if you want to wait till then.

@tsf0205, @jklim4642 is right. IVF eliminates male fertility issues. My hubby morphology is 1%. Still managed to find enough sperm to fertilize 8 eggs (though only 3 reached blasts).

@supergal, yes the group is private. Most of us don't want to 'advert' the pregnancy on fb either.

@supergal, I have the freestyle. Personally prefer that as it's a lot more portable than Pisa for carrying to work. @lily14, they have packages. About $500 for 6 sessions. Ad hoc per acu session is about $70. @XUANYCE, don't worry excessively about it. It's not uncommon but when it does...

Cuz mine was an IVF transfer. I needed the progesterone to "trick" my body to thinking I'm pregnant so my AF wouldn't start, thus giving me a longer luteal phase. Once pregnancy confirmed, it's a matter of pregnancy support to prevent spotting. Maybe cuz I had spotting the last time round. Her...

I went to Thomson Chinese Medicine to do acu. Started with the outlet at katong 112 and occasionally went to the TMC outlet when the katong doc is out of town. Personally I prefer the doc at TMC (Dr Chen). All the docs I've seen are ladies.

After ER, treat urself as pregnant unless otherwise proven. Move slowly, avoid using abdominal muscles to get out of bed & chair. Avoid cooling food and fruit (pineapple, banana, watermelon). Eat fresh food aka avoid overnight food.

I only had one frozen to try for #2 so there wasn't a choice for me. I count my blessings that it's successful. For my fresh IVF transfer in 2011, I transferred 2 on advice of embryologist. Both implant but one didn't grow further so had a lot of bleeding when the lining around that embryo...

tsf0205 - like what the ladies say, you only need to find 1 normal healthy sperm for each egg retrieved. I believe 0% doesn't mean zero. With IVF it takes out all the infertility issues of the male, leaving us females to deal with the stim, ohss and all the risks & side effects of IVF. So pls...

@tsf0205 it could be that particular day when he went for the SA he was under pressure so no / very poor sperm. There's been instances of "normal" men whose sample on ER day had 0 sperm cuz they felt pressure. Thus the mount E IVF clinic always asked the men to come in 1 week before to give...

@mummy yap and @sapwol, for my #1 my spotting lasted almost 4 weeks. Even had gushes of blood and can see chunks of blood clots. And I continued on to have a normal pregnancy and have a boy. As long as no cramping, slight spotting is fine. TCM at that time said the spotting could be part of "old...

What did the gynae say? My hubby is 1% morphology and was on TCM for 6m before IVF. Did not improve morphology but improved sperm count so that there's a bigger pool of sperm to choose from. Perhaps something your hubby can consider? Maybe if the sperm pool increase, can find some normal...
