    IUI/SO-IUI: Anyone?

Agree that age is a factor. My 1st child was conceived naturally 6 years ago. I am turning 37 this year, but managed to conceive with 3rd cycle of IUI, looking forward to offload in Oct this year for my second child. Have faith that miracles do appear. Baby dust to you all!

    IUI/SO-IUI: Anyone?

Hi, the doctor will ask you if you have another gynae to go in mind and then she will prepare the necessary docs for your gynae outside. KKH will advise accordingly. Nothing to take note, don’t worry so much.

    IUI/SO-IUI: Anyone?

It varies but 4-6 times is expected I think. I also dreaded going so many times as I don’t stay near the hosp and have to keep taking Mc or time off from work, quite disruptive. Luckily I “graduated” after my third try.

    IUI/SO-IUI: Anyone?

i don’t think there’s a fixed date. It depends on when your lining is ard 7-8mm and follicles size at least ard 15mm. I had to abort 1 cycle because these were not of ideal size.

Hi all, I’m new here. Am 35 this year and ttc #2. Had a miscarriage early last year. I’m keen to try out IUI and read that Govt will fund IUI with effect 1 Jan 2020. Does it mean that the fertility assessment can only be scheduled on or subsequent to 1 Jan 2020 in order to qualify for the IUI...

I am only 2-3 weeks. Didn't visit any gynae yet. I read online is 400 to 800 mcg per day. I read that we should visit gynae around week 6. So that's the date based on first day of last period or your perceived conceived date?

Should we be consuming 400 or 800 mcg of folic acid in tablet form? In our meals, we will definitely consume some mcg so if we take 800mcg tablet, will we be over-consuming and it be harmful instead?
