I had my first ultrasound scan on Tuesday too. The sonographer and doctor said everything looks ok and is now 5 week plus. Sonographer did say there is heartbeat. My next scan is 3 weeks later at AMC.

Day 2 embryos are fertilised already. It is true that day 5 blastocyst has a higher chance of success. I did my ET at Day 2. Reason is because I only had 2 fertilised embryos left and doc informed that there is no point to wait until day 5 because there is no “best embryo” to select on day 5...

I did try to eat more fish and eggs and drank red date tea. Didn’t eat any red bean soup though. I was on Puregon. My lining was 9.3 on first scan and 2nd scan the next day was 11.3

I only had 2 scans. It all depends on your follicle growth. For me after my 2nd scan, I was told to take the trigger shot the next day night and ER another 2 days later.

How to find out if the hcg doubles? Need to go down for another blood test 2 days later? I really need to pray very hard that everything goes smoothly. I have no frozen embryos left and whilst others transfer 5D blast I transfer only 1 2D embryo. Was so demoralised for the past 2 weeks.
