me currently in my week 33 .. not planning to rest before EDD as i am still passing over my work, and plus i would like to maximize my ML for baby .. i think it should be fine to run under hot water before usage .. cannot be too sterilized either, if not baby will get sick easily ..

just received the maternity package from my HR .. going to study it and discuss with boss - most likely is to work until i deliver and to return to work on 2nd Jan .. remaining ML to clear over 12 months .. washed all the clothings, etc .. packed hospital bag, except another few more...

re: epidural if possible, will try to go without .. MIL also spoke to me about the 'side effects' .. re: MIL well, just take everything with a pinch of salt .. me do not bother too much, if not can go crazy .. imagine my MIL will repeat herself numerous times over the same matter ...

pofy: i am also overweight but i am still taking the milk for pregnancy .. if you are not taking milk, then do drink soya milk as you need the calcium ..

happymomo: yup, everything will be charged as private rate .. for private, there are 2 maternity packages in KKH - classic & premiere .. classic: baby delivered by team on duty .. premiere: baby delivered by chosen doctor ..

re: ML must check with HR carefully .. the 1st 8 weeks are compulsory, which means 8 * 7 days (inclusive of weekends and PH) .. no choice; have to forfeit 3 days PH during our ML .. the remaining 8 weeks, 8 * 5 days (for my company as mine is 5-day work) and this does not includes PH ...

gilera: apply hot pad if you really want .. do not use those painkiller plaster - the medication in the plaster will go into the blood stream and it will absorb by baby .. re: sleeping position it is more comfy to sleep on my back than on my sides nowadays, but will have slight backache...

gilera: me have not buy any diapers yet as I do not know whether baby is comfortable with the brand or not, and plus I do not know baby's size .. as advised by my friends, ask hubby to buy after delivery =p baby use diapers like nobody's business and they grow very fast .. no need to stock up...
