I only remember avoid vit A supplements, no alcohol, no caffeine, no raw fish, no shark fins (cos of the mercury) though. We should be taking in more iron and calcium. Not sure why dr ask u to avoid milk and yoghurt?

The ultrasound machine that my gynae used for the Oscar test was different than the usual one that she had been using. Not sure if that made a difference but we could see our baby as a whole and it was pretty clear! Strongly recommend u ladies to ask ur hubby to accompany u! My gynae said this...

Hi ladies! I had my oscar scan today and saw my baby again after a month! My gynae says, although its still early to tell the gender, she suspects I'm having a baby gal Baby is about 6.5cm, at 12 weeks and 4 days. Now waiting for my blood test results!

Really? So some mummies prefer latching cos it creates the bond with the baby? Another qn, does breast feeding come naturally to us? Shld we attend classes to learn how to do it?

Can I ask what's the difference between breastfeeding the baby via latching or thru bottles? Does bottle feeding compromise the quality of the breastmilk?
