For my 1st preg, I've epidural immediately when I got admitted to hospital as I'm someone with very low pain threshold. I didn't really see how thick the needle is cos I'm scared but I do know it's painful when the needle was insert into. But at least I'm relieved for the next 9hours..... BTW...
