Dear all,

Does your kid need to undergo CT Angiography (CT Scan) Test before heart surgery?

My girl is schedule for her heart surgery end of the year due to her ASD. Before this, she has to undergo CT Angiography for a clearer image of the heart.

Appreciate if you could share your experience with me if there is any.

I believe is case by case. There are different types of ASD. For the simple ASD ,usually do not require CT scan before the surgery.
