Trying to conceive

Hi, I’m married for going 1 year. My Husband and I have been trying to have a baby ever since we got married.

During my early 20 till about 24 years old, I’ve been taking the ‘stop menses’ pills. I’ve heard people saying that it’ll somehow affect your pregnancy.

Is Tcm really best recommended for woman like me that wanted to conceive? And is it true that once you start taking chinese treatment, you can drink any cold drinks or cold food?

Sometimes we even tried on my ouvlation day but it still failed.

Need some advice here with all the experienced mom~

it is advisable to see a fertility specialist if u have tried for 1 year but no news. a fertility specialist can run tests on you or they can also suggest you dates to have sex or what we call bd.

at the same time u can see tcm doctors but tcm results is more visible
after sometime because as you know, tcm does not work as fast as western medicine.

that depends :)
do you have any budget ?
do you need to use medisave or government funding (in case u need to do ivf) ?

you wont necessary be going for ivf. but maybe you can keep an open mind. just say you have been trying for a year and not successful.

if you wish to be treated as subsidised patient, do let me know (bills can be up to 50% off)

if you are ok with government hospitals, you can book appointment with
Prof P C Wong @ NUH (private patients only - tel:6772 2277)
Dr Stephan Chew @ NUH (private patients only - same telephone as above)

or KKH, Dr Tan HH is a popular choice :
