Hi,
Any one care to share your amh (with unit stated) and fsh level that is not good but succeed in IVF?
I am afraid of low quality egg and fewer eggs for ivf considered that my amh is low at 6.8pmol/l and day 3 fsh at 9.6.
My husband SA isnt good too. Went for 2 iui, post wash is only about 3/4million and 1% morp.
Gynae recommend ivf.
Usually how many injections are required and how many days of leave are needed before embryo transfer? Is the injection both morning and night?
Really appreciate more examples. Getting depressed.
Anyone seeing dr tan hh at kkh? What is usually the waiting time for him?
Usually can we start the very next cycle after meeting him? I will be seeing at day 10 of my cycle and wish to start the very next cycle.
For the ivf counselling, both me and my husband will have to attend? Can it be scheduled on a saturday? And it is with other couples also?
Thank alot for all your help. Need encouragement to go on as i am only 29 and really dont know how to bring it up to my parent in law and my boss. And my husband just changed jobs and cannot take frequent leave.
many ppl here are seeing dr thh. his waiting time is long because of that. if ur records of iui and test results are not with kkh, suggest you bring along to see him.
very unlikely you will start the very next cycle cause there's a queue for kkivf... and you will hv the counselling, blood tests, etc to do. I heard they've improved the waiting time. it's a long process and I understand the impatience, I felt it too my first time.
both of u hv to attend counselling, half day, with other couples, usually about 5 at one time.
injections are usually once a day (morning) approx. from CD4 until CD17 - once the kkivf dr judges your follicles and linings are mature enough for Oocyte Retrieval (ER). maximum jabs I've had is 4. first time was only 1.
you will visit kkivf for almost 1 full day the first time when ur menses come around CD3, followed by at least 2 further half days (max) of ultrasound scan to monitor progress. only you need to attend, hubby can skip this and u will get MC on request.
On ER day both u and hubby must be at kkivf. hub need to deposit sperm then he can leave, max 2 hrs. No mc for him. u will be in the operation theatre for 1 hr, then observation for another 2 hrs. someone must escort u home. u will have HL for 19 days from ER day.
few days later, u head back to kkivf for Embryo Transfer (ET). hubby not required to attend this either. transfer and collect medication and go home. rest in 2 week wait (2ww) until blood test (BT) day when you will know if u succeeded or failed.
