Part-Time Cleaner - Market Rate and work scope

Hi mummies,

Currently i engage a part time cleaner who come once a week (weekday morning ) for 4 hours.
I pay her $80 for 4 hours. I find it very expensive. Is this the market rate ?

During the 4 hours her job scope
Sweep and mop condo with 3 rooms (no vacuum)
Wash 2 toilets
Wash socks and rug
wash school shoes
No need to iron and do laundry

Is the above work scope require 4 hours.

Usually what did the part time cleaner during the 4 hours ?

Wah! Your PT cleaner is fat in her pocket. Nobody pay that kind of rate & don't need to iron. Typical rates in the mkt if $50-60 for 4 hours and complete duties include cleaning all toilets, kitchen, living & bedrooms. Mine includes ironing of work clothes & school uniforms for one week's worth. I think your PT spoiling mkt.
