grumpet,
I heard that if you are TTC, your TSH level should be under 1.5. My is 2.3 without meds, worried if it's too high for ttc women.
Iodine helps with hypothyroidism.
2.3 is definitely within normal. american thyroid assoc recommends below 2.5 tsh for pregnancy.
optimal is ard 1 tsh, according to the book i recommended and my doc. she wanted mine below 2, but i have a history of thyroid issue. i supposed 1.5 is pretty good too since it is a range.

If u do not have any problem and symptoms presented, u shld not be overly worried. just my thots.
if u are very concerned, have symptoms .... then u shld run full panel, including free T3/T4/thyroid antibodies Tpo and one other test. there is also less common, reverse T3 test (expensive -sent to US labs). cos TSH alone is insufficient.
i am more wondering why u are taking iodine salt, and not iodine, and is tcm helping with yr tsh ?
Just sharing, There are supplements that help support thyroid glands... like Thorne Thyrocsin. im taking it. i take 1 cap only.
stop taking when pregnant.
