Hi mummies,

My 4months old baby boy is having eczema since he was two months old. The symptoms comes and goes and still ongoing. I've tried on the cream given by doc which contain steroids and its cure by 1 night, but now I have stop using it because I worried that will thinner his skin and become more sensitive. I tried a natural solutions to help improve his condition like coconut oil but is just flared up, we trying to stop him scratching but he will just scream and cry. Anyone have suggestion on natural ways to improve baby eczema, pls do share, I am really depress to see my LO undergo such condition and desperately needing help...a million thanks in advance...

my daughter was diagnosed with chronic eczema when she was 3 months old , been to doctors and national skin centre all they prescribed all steroid and higher and higher strength.
I decided to try moogoo when my friend recommended and I've kept away from steroid from the last 2 years.
It's not a miracle cream and its a lot of work to keep eczema under control.
thankfully as my daughter grows older she's getting better but sometimes factors such as food and weather contributes to flare ups

Which moogoo you using? I just received the California eczema baby cream, hopefully can relief his eczema.

there's now 2 types for their eczema cream, the original and new Eczema &Psoriasis Cream with Marshmallow, Elderberry and More.

I used the original.

Check out their website: www.moogoo.com.au

Hi mummy,

I totally understand how you feel. My daughter has eczema too when she is 3mths old it's all over her cheeks. without any choice, I applied thin layer of hydrocortisone for her and it really helps..however I stop using it and give her extra virgin organic coconut oil instead. Not apply but feed her. It does help and it really went off for few yrs. now she is 4yrs old and suddenly the eczema came back. She just keep scratching and scratching like monkey. I feel so bad to see her suffer and sometimes I cried when applying moisturizers for her.

Since 1MOS my baby already have that problem... eczema.... really hate it... already bring him to MountE Dr Lee Bee Wah..... doctor give him bath oil and cetaphill lotion for eczema.... but still like before.... face and head all still rash and worse

Moogoo had sell in spore?

My daughter had bad eczema all over her chest, tummy, and back since 2 months old. I've tried from all sort of creams, lotions, vco and steroid but it didn't help much. Pd suspected that she is allergy with soemthing. I was breastfeeding her and whatever I ate could affect her. Pd suggested me to cut all diary first. Initially I wasn't convince that she had food allergy because I had milk everyday during my pregnancy and both hb and I don't hv allergy with milk. Then her eczema got worsen I finally gave up with diary as a trial. Fortunately her eczema has subsiding during first two weeks. I was so glad to find out the root of cause. Now she is 27 months, she seems to almost outgrow the allergy.

Talk to your pd if anypossibility that your baby has allergy to certain foods. There is a test can be done.

Hmm Hazel, i understand how you feel. I'm also finds every mean to cure my girls eczema and cough and cold. I want to treat the root cause bcos i dont want recurrence. Seen PD too many times and every time only prescribe hydrocortisone cream. I've tried too many lotions and creams but am glad these 2 works for my girl. May I know how many time you apply lotion for your baby?

Of course can... here is it

My LO has eczema since 4mo and very bad cradle cap. Hers is hereditary as I have eczema since young. My eczema has subsided over the years but does come back though rarely. Each 'return' attacks only a part of my body but can last for ~2 years before it goes off completely. During the 'attack', i will put steroid cream on very bad days.

For my LO, she had eczema on her checks and neck. Put Ceredan (recommended by her PD) on her face religiously and it went off after ~2months. The eczema on her inner elbows is still there since she was 4 mo old. It is getting better though she still scratches the area especially when the weather is hot. I have since switched to Physiogel AI and I have finished the tube of Ceredan and want to try AI cream. I also apply a very thin layer of steroid cream on very bad days.

I've got no miracle cream to introduce as I believe each baby reacts differently to different treatments. A lot of people tell me that LO will out grow it, I believe too as I am a living case :)
Jia you to all mummies and your LOs~

My boy developed v bad enzema on his cheeks and all over the body when he was 4 months old. It was so bad that the skin specialist I brought him to was unable to find a clear patch of skin to do skin prick test to find out the source of allergy. The ceredan cream prescribed by the doc didn't help either. Besides steroid cream, which provides temporary relief, I hv tried all sorts of cream and lotion and none help. Finally I tried mustela emollient cream and it helps! I used it as an after bath moisturizer for my boy. Is expensive but it works on my boy! Robinsons usually hv 20% to 25% discount on mustela items during sale so I will stock up then. Good luck mummies!

Hi, to those who are facing Eczema issues, I have gone through all this before. Might have an alternative way to recommend. It would be better that U PM me. I would share whatever I know to improve the conditions.

Hi Mummies, i understand how you all feel. My lo had eczema attack suddenly at 19th month & me was at wits end as the earliest pd dermatologist appt is only 1 mth later. Then I read online abt physiogel ai cream, very pricey for small tube of cream but it works wonder and my lo eczema cleared up in 1 week. Now i used it as and when her eczema flare-up, it help to control & clear fast.
Btw, physiogel ai cream can only get in hospital pharmacies. Those that are sold in watson/guardian is lotion not the cream.

Can try to use DNA Miracle Natural Soothing Ointment. I have used it on my son too. It helped to sooth my son skin and apparently, the eczema improved over times.
