Single parents

Any single mum there? I'm one of the unwed mother which my baby will be Edd on next year may.
Can share some experience in taking care of the little one and what kind of government subsidiary? Such as infant care, child care etc?
As i know there will not be any baby bonus for unwed mother. How about maternity leave? Currently is 8 weeks or 12 weeks? As I know from next year onwards gov will be announced to 16 weeks in early next year and there will be a development account scheme but this will also announced in next year third quarter.. but still yet to confirm..

So what kind of single parent benefit as per current. Can anyone share their experience?
