Actually it is more for implantation.. Egg quality is with the consumption of Chinese medication ..

hi all..well my first cycle resulted in an early MC at 5 weeks after spotting for a week. I'm so gutted but determined to try again since I did manage to get my very first BFP though it only lasted a week. I don't have any frozen embryos so I'm guessing its back to my 2nd fresh cycle.

any one has any idea of how long I'll have to wait before I can begin again? My next review with Dr Sadhana is in 3 weeks.

Any idea whether can I still take my supplements (ie. Royal Jelly, Coq10 and DHEA) during IVF jabs?

I'm a strong advocate for PGD cos it worked for me. I had 3 occasions of ET with beautiful embryos and prefect triple linings but all resulted in implantation failure. And with PGD, you can select only normal embryos to put in which highly increase the success rate. You can even choose the gender if there are normal embryos for both male and female. Many other couples go there for PGD purely for gender selection. I did not identify the gender for my normal embryos cos of personal beliefs though.

One note is that you'll need to produce quite a lot of follicles in order to have some blastocysts for PGD testing so also depends on your AMH and the right stimm protocol/dosage. But as long as can have one normal blastocyst at end of the day, it could be the "golden" embryo already!

He also ask me try natural before go IVF.. But I already did 2 fresh before seeing him still bfn, so I don't think can try natural.. Anyway I stopped seeing him already

Hi @Vk85, my story is similar to yours. My first ET resulted in BFP with HCG at 2k+, but MC at 5 weeks plus. I'm also with Dr Sadhana and she allow me to proceed with FET immediately after the scan showed that my uterus is cleared of the old blood and tissues from the MC. Here's my timeline: MC in end Mar, review with Dr on 1 Apr (which was the original review at week 6), AF reported on 18 Apr, scan and 2nd review with Dr on 26 Apr. Start medicated FET cycle when AF reported in end May. (Sadly, my 2nd ET ended in BFN.)

Wow your dosage is pretty high as well. This is your how many cycles?
I wonder if prof will agree to prescribe such high dose to me! Lol
Do u still remember your first 5 days has how many follies?

Yup it's really high. That was my 3rd fresh cycle. After trying short protocol 1st cycle and Long protocol 2nd cycle, I respond better with short protocol while doc decided to try a high dose of stim with short protocol. It turned out to be my best result in terms of quantity & quality. At Day 5, I had about 15 follies but also have to note that Dr Loh usually count only those larger ones and leave out the small ones. By day 12 before trigger, he counted 17 follies above 14mm (mostly 16-19mm) which was very close to the outcome of 18 mature eggs though 32 were retrieved.

Must stay positive. So long as at least double on Sat all's well. Jus for ref, at TFC, for BT on 18 day post ER ie 16dp2dt or 12or13dp5dt , if hcg level is 3 digit, considered viable pregnancy and no order for repeat BT 2 days later. Just continue support medication and schedule for first scan. Repeat BT is only ordered for those with less than 3 digit hcg level so I was told.

Do u still rem what was your AFC before u start the stim?
 
Ladies,
Can I ask THH for progesterone injections during my luteal support at 2ww for my FET in July? The Crinone makes me feel eeeky. I forgot to ask him about it when I saw him 2 weeks back. Is it too late to request?

I wasn't told the exact number but I rem Dr mentioned not a lot coz I rem feeling gutted & didn't ask more. So I think don't worry about it too much, must stay positive and hope the protocol works well for you so you progress with good response.

Gota wait for 2cycle at least before starting the next.By the way Next fresh cycle waiting list is endin september ealy october.....meantime rest well...build up ur body...

U can request to him during et. I requested Jab instead of insert and was given daily Progestrone jab. It was quite troublesome cos I have to go kkivf to jab everyday. The oil base jab is painful as well n imagine u have to jab till BT date.

Lucrin can be use for long protocol to suppress before starting on stimulation jab. It can also be use as trigger jab. I cannot remember my dosage previously. I do not have any side effect using this med. some frens who use lucrin for long protocol told me is like going into menopause bone aching n feeling tired but I guess that's the extreme case bah. Usually not much side effect de.

Hi gal am so sorry to hear this. Hugz. I went thru the same. Have you started af yet. Believe must at least wait one cycle before trying another fresh.

Thanks mesera..well my bleeding from the miscarriage became heavy AF like bleeding and never really stopped (5 days now) and am wondering if that is considered AF? Seems like never-ending day 1 flow...
Went for appt at O&G 24 hr clinic yday and the dr there told me my lining has been shed naturally during the bleeding so I don't need D&C. So i guess that's the silver lining?

thanks hajar..yeah planning to go back to TCM and take Coq10 and royal jelly.. wondering if accupuncture is sth I shd consider as well...

Oh ok. I am waiting for the bleed but it's still like stains. ..thick stains thou. My cramps r v bad at times that I pop in painkillers. Shedding naturally is good. My first mc I kept spotting and end up infection and that's what scares me. I have dr appt on mon to check out y haven't bleed. It's been like tat since last Tue. After how.long of spotting did bleed start gal

A D&C may be required gal. it depends on how long are you having the stains gal.

my heavy bleeding started about 5 days after i first started spotting. i passed out huge clots a week after i started spotting. yeah i have very bad cramps too. was popping panadol but it didn't help much. luckily yday dr prescribed ponztan and also antibiotics so it's a little better though i can still feel the cramps..but at least i can continue with normal activities.
 
I just received a call for my Progesterone blood test level, its very low at 30 plus :(. Need to go back for a jab. I'm worried now if this will impact my embies to implant.
 
Hi all, am here to report that my 2nd fresh cycle has failed again. I've transferred 2 5-days embbies but non stick. For this and last fresh cycle, i have no implantations at all even thou my lining is good. So i guess it could be abnormal chromosome issues? Was quite disappointed when i started to bleed before my BT. Have cried my heart out and grieve for awhile. Am back to work this Tuesday and feeling better.

My hubby was telling me, for our next fresh, don't go for acupuncture la.. Just take things easy. I have been going for acupuncture diligently before i start ivf. Maybe we failed 2 times so he also feel discourage. I'm also taking COQ10 and prenatal vitamins. Probably need to consider to take DHEA for the next cycle.. Will check with Dr Tan when i go for the review.

@mesara stay strong and hope thru the help of Dr Choolani, u will soon be able to have ur take home bb next yr! i actually envied that you manage to bfp thrice.. cos i nvr had once before.

Hi Dreamscometrue, no I didn't try endo scratch before. Maybe I should try for my 3rd fresh! I didn't do FET before also. My 1st fresh only left with 1 embryo to freeze. So when I go to Dr Tan, he advise me to do a 2nd fresh. Then my 2nd fresh i have 6 embryos but only 2 survived for 5 days blast. So i have none to do FET.

I'm thinking for 3rd fresh cycle, dunno i can propose to Dr Tan to freeze my embbies for FET. Dun wan to try for another fresh and get disappointed. Not sure whether he will obliged or not.. hmmm.
