Spoken mandarin for kids aged 7

I am a non-chinese. I would like my child aged 7 to learn spoken mandarin. What are the different ways of learning this language? And what are the courses available?
Do you recommend Spoken Mandarin courses offered in CCs?

Starting with Hanyu Pinyin will help the kid to pick up the language faster. Hope this help.
