hi hoping to know and share experience some mtb staying in tampines. i am a first time mtb staying in tampines st 72. edd - aug 09
 


Dear mothers or mothers-to-be, if you are looking for an experienced nanny, feel free to contact my mom by sending me a personal message.

My mom has a lot of experience taking care of children as well as newborn. willing to take care for day and night.

Staying at Tampines Ave 1..... Any mummies doing their confinment now and is bf (attempting to bf) =P

btw any tampines mummy can recommend good hair saloon round this area? wan to do my hair after confinement but dun wan to go too far. thanks

agreed with u that Jul will be a better mth to give birth oosh, weather definitely better than Jun so humid and hot. Least confinement is ending soon

Just happen to see this topic. Am staying in Tampines too. Had finished my confinement.

For those awaiting for confinement to end and going for hair saloon, I recommend Icon at Century Sq. hehe...I went there during the last 2nd day of my confinement to get them to wash my hair, cut, hair color and style. = )

But if U r looking really really good hair scrubbing and hair cut at reasonable cost, try Nulook at Tampines St 21 market, ask for Genie tel 67883388. She gives very good hair scrub and hair styling.

I've just given birth on July 17th and I'm staying at Tampines St 32. Still partially confined though... Would love to share notes on parenting and breastfeeding.

I'm in Street 32 too! It's very hard to find a nanny or babysitter around here. I've a 3mth old daughter. How old is yours?
 
I'm in St 41. Nanny/Babysitter are expensive and may not be good as well. Their rate is more expensive than maid salary.

I was in Tampines hawker when I saw this babysitter mid 40's was picking up the baby from mother when she off to work.. the babysitter was smilling and waving the mother. The moment, the mother got into her car and drove off. The babysister was cursing and swearing at the baby. Baby also got feelings, and perhap scare at the high pitch voice and start crying. Instead of consoling the baby, she beat the baby to stop.

That was the day, i took a maid stay at home to train her all the way. When i think its time to let go, i pretend to go to work continuosly for weeks, but i had hidden camera in all the rooms to monitor.

Thanks god..all okay. This maid like children and will tend to the children before her own needs.

I also Stay at ST41. Me at Blk 431. Where yours? Do you know of any good CC around our estate? Planning to send my No.1 to half day CC for trial because No.2 coming next year.
 
Unfortunately, not everyone can afford a domestic help. I, on the other hand, is wary about hiring foreign maids based on past experiences and stories told by almost everyone I know.

Still, every mommiy needs domestic help every now and then. I would love to engage a babysitter for a few hours just so that my husband and I can go on couple dates once every few months.

So, out of my fullest sincerity, I'm offering to babysit children at my place in Tampines St 32 for a few hours in weekday afternoons. This is so mommies can do their chores or have some quality "me" time. If anyone's interested, I can be contacted at 98752165.

EDD was originally Oct 2009, but my baby girl decided end Sept 2009 it was.. hehe
she's going to turn 7 months in another 2 days time..
